SIGN LANGUAGE STORYTIME Thurs Sept 23 | 10:30am A storytime celebrating International Day of Sign Languages. KIDS TAKE & MAKES Bring home your fantastic APL program. Place a hold in the catalogue, pick up your supplies with instructions and make something fun with your child. Limited kits are available each week. Place your holds at bit.ly/3f02ACA FALL READING CLUB (ages 4 - 12) Track what you read using our easy app and see who can read the most. Top readers will get certificates recognizing their reading superpowers. Register at aurorapl.beanstack.org

PANDEMIC PENPALS FOR KIDS Children in grades 1-6 are paired with high school students and will exchange a series of letters to practice reading and writing, as well as penmanship or typing. Letters will be transmitted via library staff. To register, email ya@aurorapl.ca INTERNATIONAL GAMES WEEK November 7-13 Take part in an annual celebration of games, play and learning. TEEN ADVISORY GROUP (TAG) Thurs, Sept 16, 30, Oct 14, 28, Nov 11, 25, Dec 9 7:00pm Local teens wanted to contribute fresh ideas for our YA programs and collections. 2020 REVISION Complete questionnaires and writing prompts about your experiences of 2020/21. Earn additional hours by interviewing people of different ages about the pandemic and more. 16

APL ACTS OF KINDNESS Perform a good deed or kind act, then submit a photo and brief description to ya@aurorapl.ca Include your full name, grade, school, email and phone number. Volunteer hours will be awarded at the discretion of library staff. PANDEMIC PEN PALS Help an elementary school student with their reading and writing, as well as penmanship or typing.
