half day camps LITTLE PEANUTS CAMP Age 3–4Y Town Staff This introduction to camp will include a morning filled with crafts, games and songs with our well-trained leaders. Little Peanuts will enjoy exploring their creativity, while making new friends! Camper must be fully potty-trained (no pull-ups) and must be three-years old by first day of camp. We have two sites to choose from, the Magee House at Hap Magee Ranch Park and Oak Hill Park Community Center. All registered participants will receive an information email about one week prior to the first day of camp. Please fill out the emergency form and bring to the first day of camp. Children should wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes, and bring water and a snack.

Traditional Day Camps WHAT IS A “TRADITIONAL DAY CAMP?” Traditional day camps include full- and half-day day camps with activities planned around a central theme by trained Town staff. Each camper belongs to a group of 6–8 which rotates through activities throughout the day, such as arts, crafts, outdoor games, playground time, sports, free play, etc. Some camps include an off-site, Town Camp staff-supervised Deposit Option field trip. NEW this year! The Town of Danville is pleased to offer a Camp Deposit option for Traditional Camp registration. For a $50 deposit fee per child per barcode, you can reserve the weeks of camp you need (anywhere from one to eight weeks). Balance will automatically be billed to your credit card 14 days prior to the first day of each camp week. Standard withdrawal and refund policy applies. Available for credit card payments only.

This is a wonderful day camp experience for children ages 5–7, in a beautiful setting. Trained and experienced staff will lead children through daily adventures of songs, crafts, games and a variety of other outdoor activities. Each Tuesday campers will go on a local, off-site field trip selected especially for this age group, which will be chaperoned by Town Staff only. DANVILLE DAY CAMP Age 8–11Y Town Staff This is a wonderful day camp experience for children in a beautiful setting. Trained and experienced staff will lead children through daily adventures of songs, crafts, games and a variety of other outdoor activities. Each Thursday campers will go on an off-site field trip, which will be chaperoned by Town Staff only. Friday afternoon will be spent at the Monte Vista Pool. All registered participants will receive an information letter email about one week prior to the first day of camp. Please fill out the forms and bring to the first day of camp. Children should wear comfortable layered clothing and closed-toe shoes. Children should also bring a sack lunch and water daily unless otherwise specified. Field trips subject to change. Extended Care and Day Camp Swim Lessons available for this camp.

Exclusively for kids registered in Danville Day, Danville Day Junior, and Play ‘n’ Sports Day Camps at swim levels Elementary 1–4 (see www.ci.danville.ca.us for details). Lessons are 25-minutes long and run Monday–Thursday for one week at Monte Vista Community Pool. Children will be tested and placed in a class with similarly-skilled students. Max three students per instructor. Town staff will escort campers to the pool. Children must be able to change clothes on own. Parents pick-up children at the pool, or campers registered for Extended Care will be escorted back to the Los Cerros Teen Center. No camp swim lessons the week of July 5. Summer Day Camp Extended Care is designed to provide an affordable and safe environment that meets the needs of working and busy families in our community. If you need a few more hours before and after camp, this program will provide a safe, nurturing place for your children. This additional time will allow campers to enjoy regular camp activities at a more leisurely pace. Arts and crafts supplies, board games, outdoor activities, and more will be available to all children enrolled in Extended Care. Parents can choose from AM only, PM only, or both. Welcome to DesTEENation Camp! This summer’s theme is “Give Back!” Each week will begin on Monday with a lesson and activity in community service. Like past years, Tue–Thu will be filled with great trips. Wednesdays we will have an extended trip to 5:00 PM. Bring a lunch to camp Mon–Thu, unless specified in weekly parent emails. Every Friday we will have a BBQ with our other camps and free swim at the Monte Vista Pool. Parents will receive an email with details and forms the week prior to camp. Trips are subject to change with availability; participants will be notified in advance. Extended Camp program available beginning at 7:30 AM and extending to 6:00 PM.
