Saturday, February 9, 10:00 am–1:00 pm Danville Community Center

Traditional day camps include full and half-day day camps with activities planned around a central theme by trained Town staff. Each camper belongs to a group of 6–8 which rotates through activities throughout the day, such as arts, crafts, outdoor games, playground time, sports, free play, etc. Some camps include an off-site, Town staff-supervised field trip. All registered participants will receive an informational email the week prior to the first day of camp. Should your camper need special accommodations, please contact the Danville Community Center at 925-314-3400, at least 2 weeks prior to the start of camp.

CAMP DEPOSIT OPTION The Town of Danville is pleased to offer a Camp Deposit option for all Traditional and Enrichment Camp registrations. For a $50 deposit fee per child per barcode (unless otherwise indicated), you can reserve the weeks of camp you need. Balance will automatically be billed to your credit card 14 days prior to the first day of each camp week. Standard withdrawal and refund policy applies. Available for credit card payments only. A perfect introduction to camp for the young campers of Danville. Led by experienced and well-trained staff, campers pre-K through first grade will enjoy the perfect balance of exciting games, crafts, songs, and outdoor play, while meeting new friends. Families are welcome to join their campers on Family Friday from 11:30 am–12:00 pm to enjoy a snack and a special activity based on the theme of the week! 1:6 ratio. Campers must be potty-trained to attend camp.

Come one, come all to Danville Day Camps! Trained and experienced staff will lead campers through daily adventures of song crafts, games, and outdoor activities. Art & Craft Camps ACRYLIC PAINTING CAMP

CRITTERS ’N CLAY CAMPS

Come have fun with acrylic painting! We’ll create art by sponge painting, finger painting, using paint rollers and other fun materials. Campers will be guided with step-by-step instruction and go home with beautiful paintings! $8 Materials fee due on first day.

Each day you’ll learn about a new animal, sculpt it out of clay together, with step-by-step instructions and hear a story about our “critter du jour.” Basic sculpting and glazing techniques will be taught to assists in the creation of four critters that your child will be proud to display. Students will attend class for four consecutive days, M–Th and then return the following week on Friday, July 19, to glaze their ceramic pieces. $25 Materials fee due on first day.

COOKING FIESTA CAMP

Learn about the basics of sewing and different stitches to create travel pillows, small item purses and pillow cases. Learn how to use a sewing machine and paint the piece to finalize it. 30-minute lunch break; bring a lunch and a water bottle. Sewing machine is provided.

The Town of Danville offers top-flight instruction from tennis professional, John DeMartini. He is a USPTA Elite Professional. John has been a teaching pro for over 20 years, formerly at Stanford University. He has extensive experience providing instruction to students of all ages and levels. This tennis program features classes for all skill levels and limits class size to 3–6 students, for individualized instruction.

Triple Threat Academy (TTA) is back for its 16th year in Danville. Set in a fun and energetic environment, our camps teach the fundamentals of the game. Our camps are designed for players of ALL skill levels and our professional coaching staff will ensure that everyone’s experience is second to none.
