ENGRAVING TRUTH CENTER The social history of white supremacy and social injustices of black and brown people has slowly corroded the true meaning of a democracy. From personal experience, Stone Mountain is a beautiful, serene natural landmark with a history that is richer than its Confederate Memorial carving. The goal of this project is to reconnect Stone Mountain to nature by concentrating on the natural elements of the Park. Rather being the largest symbol of white supremacy, it should be a grand remembrance for the lives lost fighting for diversity, racial equity and social justice. In years to come, the confederate memorial will be barely recognizable, and a new representation of truth will be engraved with the names of those struggle against social justice.

Louver curtain wall system uses wood columns turned to 45° East to increase the air flow of the art gallery. The truss system supporting the roof leaves space for the hot air to rise and circulate.
Combined with the louver curtain wall and the south-faced glazing, allows the art gallery to make the most of solar gain by letting natural light shine through while absorbing heat.
Vegetation shade buildings and surfaces, while water evaporating through their leaves lowers nearby air temperatures. Its a community garden that uses the runoff water of the green roof to irrigate it.
Two semi-intensive green roofs on the opposing sides of the structure. It increases the air quality and is sloped the collect stormwatter runoff, irrigating the community garden. Adds views of Stone Mountain

STRUCTURAL MEMBERS | Moment Resistance Frame: Portals and precast concrete members support the towers vertical loads. Lateral Resistance: The core helps the lateral loads that are transferred from the walls to floors then to the core.

ROLE OF PRECAST | Designing the facade assisted i visualizing the outcome of the Buble Look out Tower. The skin stems from a pattern of bubbles which morph into a variation of shapes once parametric logic is implemented. This being a total precast structure, here is a breakdown of how the material is being used.

ECO-FACADE | SOLAR PANELS
Featured on the South and West facade would be the Eco-Facade that utilized dye sensitive solar cells attached as fins on the reflective curtain wall. This allows the bulding to collect and generate electricity to sustain the community center and office buillding. CASE STUDY: SWISSTECH CONVENTION CENTER The convention center is the first large-scale convention hall to use EPFL’s dye-sensitized solar cells (also known as Grätzel Cells).
