I had my first Tribella treatment at the CHRC, Bon Secours Hospital Tralee at the beginning of October. I was thrilled with my results. My pigmentation is much lighter and my friends are telling me that I look less tired and I feel my skin looks refreshed and radiant. The wrinkles around my eyes and mouth are also not as obvious. I found the staff very friendly and the clinic looks so modern and stylish! I am definitely booking another Tribella treatment. I am just wondering when will I see the ultimate result? Thanks, Rhona.
Hi Rhona, I am so pleased to hear that you are happy with your first Tribella treatment. It is the ultimate skin rejuvenation treatment and we are delighted that we are the only provider in Kerry. If you were pleased with one treatment, just wait until your third Tribella treatment and following that, it will keep working for up to six months from your last Tribella treatment. Both our male and female clients are noticing a reduction in their pigmentation and their fine lines and wrinkles are not as prominent, followed by firmer and tighter skin.
Our clients are also seeing a huge reduction in redness on the skin. As the Tribella is three treatments in one, it can address many issues at the same time which is a win-win! Our clients, who have had their last treatment over six months ago, can really see the difference now as it was working away after their third Tribella treatment and this is when you will see the real wow result. This is our last week of the Tribella special offer here at CHRC (see back page for more information) but you can also pay in October for your November treatment.

are Myofascial
Points (TrP)?
Trigger Point is a hyperirritable spot, a palpable nodule found primarily in the taut bands of the skeletal muscle.
Direct compression or muscle contraction can elicit local tenderness, jump sign, weakness, local twitch response and referred pain which usually responds with a pain distant from the TrP spot. TrP’s mainly develop in the centre of a muscle belly.
We all have TrP’s in the body but their presence doesn’t necessarily result in pain or dysfunction.
:
Ageing
Injury
A fall
Muscle overuse
Poor posture
Lack of exercise
Chronic stress
you may have a TrP :
Deep, aching pain in a muscle / area
Pain that persists or worsens
A tender spot in a muscle
Difficulty with daily tasks or sleeping
What we can do…using specific hands on Neuromuscular techniques and massage we can help release TrP’s. This can reduce pain and increase mobility as well as strength in the affected area. If any of this sounds like something you are struggling with, than get in touch with us here in KP Therapy...

Halloween Street Party Hits Denny Street
By Georgie Downes
So far, October has been a month-long party in Kerry as global Irish festival, An Turas Mór (The Journey Home) rolled its way through the Kingdom, delighting crowds with traditional music sessions, a half marathon, beach rallies and the iQuest Adventure Series; basically, something for everybody in the audience, especially members of the Kerry diaspora who returned home to enjoy the activities. Now, as the end of the month draws near, Denny Street is gearing up to host An Turas Mór’s closing ceremony. It takes place next Sunday night, October 30th, promising a breathtaking evening of fireworks, fun and games and culminating with a gloriously spectacular Fire Show.
Get yourselves down there between 6pm and 8pm for this amazing Halloween
street party. To add to the atmosphere, the event will present Haunted Projections (6pm) followed by a spot of Deadly Dancing with prizes on the night for scariest costume and the best Time Warp dancer. What’s that? Look up The Rocky Horror Picture Show and start practicing those moves.
The Parade of Fire kicks off from the top of Denny Street before 7pm with Fire Performers and a Dragon along with the Kingdom Troopers & Drummers followed by the thirty-minute Fire Show with fireworks over Ashe Memorial Hall to end.
Best of all, this is a FREE event that the whole family can enjoy together. For more details, see the tralee.ie/news
Creepy Crawlies & Haunted Castles!
It was truly a night to remember for all the right reasons. What am I referring to , only the best show in town, the Tralee Toastmasters Halloween Party, which was held in Ballyseede Castle on Monday October 24th October. The party drew only the best of clientele for the night. From the four corners of the Kingdom they all flocked in for their annual gathering, coming by all means of transport. The red carpet was put out for these welcome
guests, let me tell you that no expense was spared for this event.
Ballyseede Castle opened its doors, and gave us a warm and hearty welcome. The evening’s festivities were opened up by our President, James Finnegan ( The Wizard), who made us feel most warmly welcome. Fellow Toastmasters came from Killarney and Listowel plus guests who are friends with our club. Then the invisible gavel was turned over to our Toastmaster for the evening, who travelled at great expense from Transylvania, that being Derry Butler (Dracula), dressed in his colourful black attire. Derry again made us all feel very welcome to this special festive event.
We opened up our evening with table topics with Gerard Mannix from Killarney dresses in his knightly attire. Gerard warmed up the audience with his topics on creepy crawlies and haunted castles. This certainly whet our appetites. The hospitality of the hotel staff was second to none making sure that we did not want for anything. The food provided along with teas/coffees was first class.
Derry our Toastmaster chaired the meeting in very proficient manner making sure that everyone had a very enjoyable night. The party pieces were certainly festive and very much reflected the theme of the night. In addition to this, Tim, one of the senior staff member shared the history of Ballyseede Caslte with us, this was a real treat,
and a joy to listen to. The evening was wrapped up our Toastmaster Derry Butler and our President James Finnegan who bid us farewell. Thanks once again to the staff of Ballyseede Castle for making us so very welcome and for their hospitality.

TWO FACTORY WORKERS ARE TALKING
The woman says, "I can make the boss give me the day off."
The man replies, "And how would you do that?"
The woman says, "Just wait and see." She then hangs upside-down from the ceiling. The boss comes in and says, "What are you doing?"
The woman replies, "I'm a light bulb."
The boss then says, "You've been working so much that you've gone crazy. I think you need to take the day off."
The man starts to follow her and the boss says, "Where are you going?"
The man says, "I'm going home, too. I can't work in the dark."
MY BOSS IS THREATENING TO FIRE THE EMPLOYEE WHO HAS THE WORST POSTURE.
I have a hunch it might be me.
HOW DO YOU GET TRUMP TO CHANGE A LIGHT BULB?
Tell him Obama put it in.
PIT BULL AT THE FUNERAL
A guy is walking down the street and sees a massive funeral procession. At the front of the line is a man with a pit bull, then 2 coffins, followed by 200 people. Curious, he asks the man what happened.
"Well," says the man, "My pitbull killed my wife last Thursday, then on Friday, he killed my mother-inlaw."
The first man thinks about it for a second, and says, "Would you mind if I borrowed your dog for a couple of days?"
The man shrugs, points behind him and says "Get in line."
A MAN WALKS INTO A BAR AND SITS DOWN AND ORDERS A DRINK.
Bartender says "I'm sorry sir, you already seem very drunk, I cannot serve you."
Guy gets up and leaves.
A few minutes later, he comes in again, sits down at the bar and tries ordering another drink.
"I'm sorry sir, but I cannot serve you because you already seem drunk. Please leave,"
Guy gets up, grunts and wanders off again through the same exit.
Another few minutes goes by and the same guy comes back in, sits down and tries to order yet another drink.
"SIR, I'VE ALREADY TOLD YOU NOW TWICE THAT YOU'RE TOO DRUNK AND I CANNOT SERVE YOU."
Dude looks at the bartender all surprised and slurs: "How many bars do you work at?!"
DID YOU KNOW THAT A GIRAFFES NECK IS STRONG ENOUGH TO SUPPORT THE WEIGHT OF A HUMAN CLIMBING ON IT?
Anyway, I got banned from my local zoo today
BILL AND HIS FRIENDS WERE OUT FOR THEIR WEEKLY GOLF MATCH.
A funeral procession goes by and Bill stops I the middle of his swing, takes off his hat, and bows his head until they have moved on.
"That was pretty moving how you showed respect there Bill", one his buddies says.
"Well. We were married for 25 years!" replied Bill.

Credit Unions top Customer Experience league table for 8 years in a row!
Credit unions have topped the league table for the best customer experience in Ireland at the official CXi awards announced last week. This is a record-breaking eighth year in a row that credit unions have topped the CXi poll.
Speaking about the achievement, Pa Laide CEO of Cara Credit Union said, “Once again, we see Irish credit unions top the poll for best customer experience in this year’s CXi report. This is a huge endorsement of the excellent customer experience we offer our members on a daily basis through face to face engagement in our offices, and through our online and digital offerings. In a year which has seen Ulster Bank and KBC withdraw from the Irish market, more and more consumers are realising the importance of excellent service from a financial provider with a social ethos. We put our members’ needs at the heart of everything we do, and we will always be there for them. It’s no coincidence that we’ve seen a significant increase in the number of consumers who have
switched their bank accounts to our credit union since the beginning of the year. The results from the CXi report speak for themselves and it is a testament to the dedication and the hard work of staff and volunteer directors in Cara Credit Union and in every credit union in Ireland.”
The Customer Experience Insight (CXi) Report is published annually by the CX Company based on a survey carried out on their behalf by Amárach Research. Over 28,000 experiences were evaluated using the CX Framework, including value, channel usage, how important employees are to the customer experience, and net promoter score (NPS) which measures the loyalty of customers to a company.
Speaking at the CXi report launch, Michael Killeen, Chairman of the CX Company said, ‘’Irish Credit Unions topped the CXi league table for a record eight year in a row, which is unheard of around the world. Credit unions are fully committed to brilliant and consistent CX Excellence. They treat their
members like a member of their own family and, in response to members’ evolving needs, are continuing to develop new products and services including mortgages,
current accounts and SME loans, as they drive CX Excellence across the whole credit union sector.”
An Turas Mor Comes To A Close with Halloween Street Party For Tralee
After coordinating, supporting and presenting over forty events for the month of October, Kerry County Council's An Turas Mór Homecoming Kerry Festival is drawing to a spectacular closure this Sunday evening in Denny Street Tralee with a fire parade, fire show and fireworks between 6pm and 8pm
The event will present Haunted Projections (6pm) followed by some Deadly Dancing for which families are invited to come all dressed up and get involved in the fun of the evening and maybe even winning some spot prizes for the scariest dressed or best Time Warp Dancer.
The Parade of Fire will kick off from the top of Denny Street before 7pm with Fire Performers and Dragon along with Kingdom Troopers & Drummers followed by a 30 minute Fire Show and the evening will culminate with a Fireworks Display over the Ashe Memorial Hall. Mayor of Tralee, Cllr Mikey Sheehy encouraged people to join in the celebrations at the weekend.
‘The Kerry Homecoming Festival which has run throughout October has been a wonderful success.
Numerous community festivals and events have focussed on what is best about the county and has also attracted the Kerry Diaspora home
from overseas. I hope that people will come out in large numbers for the finale of the festival on Saturday evening in Tralee. I thank all those
who are working so hard to make it happen and I hope everyone will enjoy the festivities,’ he said.

Halloween Story
Nocturnal we!!!!
Nocturnal we!!!
And autumn leaves, yellow, brown, and red, with ease as they shed. They crisp beneath our feet as we walk to and towards to meet and greet the streets of tralee. Trick or treat, trick or treat. Let’s see who gets what, tonight when we meet. The laneway that strikes with alleyway rats, lets leave a treat for the rats to eat. We open our bag and try to decide, a finger, a foot, even the rat’s demands they want the two hands.
Nocturnal we!!!
Don’t like to be mean, careful though, just as we go, crushing marrow and bone for no one to know. Now a street that we meet, hearing people who greet. As we pass by, the moonlit sky. We strike with laughter to the ones that matter. They look with surprise at the trick stuck in their side. Shine-silver and sharp, drip dropping blood is our mark. No notice is taken as the nights laughter and cheer scream, oicheshamhna-shona-daoibh my dears. Celebrations are neat in homes, building, shops, bars, laneways, and streets. Nocturnal we!!! Lick our lips, knowing the liquids that we sip will be shared as a treat with yes you when we meet. The taste is unknown, made perfect to groan, and to moan with serious aches, as you make your own wakes. Tricks and treats, treats and tricks, lets party on and make an out-rage-ious mix.
Nocturnal we!!!
Loves tonight you see. With a treat to implore and a trick to leave you completely floored. We stand by your side, infront and behind. On halloween night we don’t know the word might. Every action we take we believe to be right.
Nocturnal we!!!
Climbs the rooftops of tralee. Sensing our prey. Our tricks, our treats, our laneways, our streets, our passing by as we meet, in buildings and bars and in homes who like to greet. Halloween night is a mouth-watering fright to feed our thirst for you as we like.
Nocturnal we!!!
Longs to trick, and to treat. Is the trick a treat or the treat a trick. Just remember in the end. We choose when we meet. Beware and lookout. We do not cry and we do not shout. In this town of tralee, we are your neighbours and friends, your shopkeeper to spend, streetsweeper to clean, doctor to heal, lawyer to lean, clerk to smerk at the shine of a coin, bartender popping corks to rhyme a tune with the clock. We, the lay-man or woman in everyday work.
Nocturnal we!!!
Listen up you hear. On halloween night debate if you might. Yes, we are real, and you are our very tasty meal. We are no law givers. We are the grave diggers. Is it a trick or a treat. Wide-eyed and drooling you will be. Yes, my friend yes on halloween night when we meet to greet. In this very great town of sweet yummy tralee.

Surf N Sail has a Closing Down Sale ...and will Reopen in 2023!
Tralee Advertiser got a call last week from an old friend and client Graham Kelliher who amongst other things owns the very popular 'Surf N Sail' Outlet located at the Abbey Car park . After a little while chatting , the words came out of his mouth ..." We have to close ! " Before I could get any further and already my mind was working overtime thinking another great retailer would be lost forever , Graham added in the words " but only for a while as we have to renovate ...I have some great plans for the space down there !" Well it pans out that Graham has fantastic plans for the whole area that surrounds his shop 'Surf N Sail ' and there is a lot of unused space surrounding him there ." I am planning to do a Foodyard as well as a Micro Business Hub ...its going to be great" ...well that sounds very very interesting ...but more about these plans later ,,watch this space ..Graham will keep us updated .
"We probably will be closed til after Christmas but plan to relaunch well in advance of the Summer "! But for now , Graham has to close his popular shop "BUT NOT YET" he interjects ..".I need to make space
The
first as I'm going to use the space inside the shop as I carry on the renovations and building works . And as we all know building and dust and general mess doesn't mix well with Clothes , Wetsuits , Surfboards , equipment and such .So i have to get rid of as much stock as I can before we start , and thats why I'm having a crazy clearout Sale with reductions up to 50% ...so there will be tremendous brgains to be had ...just check out our ad in this magazine .
Its happening over the next 2 weekends , Thursday to Saturday each weekend " says Graham . So what could be better than kicking off your Christmas Shopping with a few good bargains ...whether they are presents for others..Towel robes , wetsuits etc or an early treat for yourself with a great deal on a Surfboard or Body Board . " So I have decided rather than having a 'secret Sale ' pushing it on Facebook Instagram etc, that we would tell
Stack Club Faithful
the world .We have always had great results working with the guys in the Tralee Advertiser and they are also strong online with their digital edition , Facebook, Instagram and Tik Tok so lets 'tell the world ' laughs Graham .
