In our clinic we take care of our patients by listening their stories. After this subjective assessment, we follow up a rigorous examination of their posture and gait. We check the possible origin of their problem through special test which will let us know what can be involved in their pain (muscles, tendons, joints…)
From there, we create personalized treatment for each patient where massage and other techniques are applied to help our patients to reduce their pain. In addition, we also offer the option to integrate Pilates in their daily routine which will help them to retrain their bodies to not to incur in those injuries again.
If you are in pain or know somebody who is been suffering for a while, don’t hesitate to give us a call or to come to visit our clinic. Our professionals will take care of you, your health matters.
Have a good weekend!

If your laptop or Desktop Computer is a few years old it is more likely that it has not got a old disk drive and you may nd it slow to start up and opening programs. One of the most cost-e ective ways of speeding up your computer is by replacing your hard drive with a new SSD drive. This can make your laptop 10 times faster and make it lighter. SSDSs are Non-volatile memory, or NVM for short, is one of the two main types of computer memory. The other one is RAM and all data there is transient unless the device has the system in read-only mode. That's di erent from SSDs which are immune to the e ects of magnetic elds and shocks because there are no moving parts unlike standard hard drives Before you consider in upgrading, I would always advise backing up your data on a external drive or memory stick. . The cost of this upgrade is from €125 which is a lot cheaper than a new laptop
Hyperpigmentation is characterised by the increased production and accumulation of melanin, which causes a darkened appearance to the skin in small or large areas. Melanin protects skin cells and their DNA by absorbing the suns ultraviolet rays. Age spots seem to cause the most concern to people. They are caused by years of UV exposure. Larger than freckles, they don’t fade in winter. At CHRC, we have many products and treatments that work on pigmentation and age spots. A consultation is the initial stage to determine the number of treatments required and product suitability. IPL treatment is particularly e ective. Normally 4- 5 treatments are required. Firstly, a good sunscreen is essential and we recommend avoiding a chemical sunscreen. One of my favourites is AlumierMD moisture matte as it has a sheer tint and gives the skin a healthy glow. EverActive C&E is a potent antioxidant serum to reduce the visible signs of ageing for all skin types. The unique delivery system ensures 15% Vitamin C is always optimally active. Skin appears brighter and it improves skin tone and texture. Use in the morning, as the antioxidants protect and neutralise free radicals from the sun and pollution. Always follow with your sunscreen. Eventone is a serum that contains naturally powerful pigment inhibitors and prevents new pigment formation. This can be applied at night or morning after cleansing on the face and neck and décolleté in an upward motion. When used in the morning, follow with your SPF. EverActive C&E and Eventone can both be purchased together at a special price of €120 from CHRC. The Christmas club at CHRC is also now open for you to reserve your products (to give as a gift or to keep for yourself), pay towards them every week and collect nearer the big day, beautifully wrapped for Christmas.
A lot of people work on pigmentation and age spots in the winter to be summer ready. Pigmentation is the natural colour of a person’s skin and is related to melanin production. This is the perfect time of year to work on hyperpigmentation as the sun is not an issue.

A Co Kerry based veterinary laboratory is encouraging students to consider a career in animal diagnostic testing. Agri Diagnostics has delivered a short training course to students from Munster Technological University showing them the latest methods and testing techniques.
Agri Diagnostics employs 10 people and offers a range of animal diagnostic services from its stateof-the-art laboratories which are located in Dunrine, Killarney. A group of 11 students spent a morning in the company’s parasitology lab and were shown how to detect liver and rumen fluke in cattle. Parasites remain a health issue for farm animals and it’s estimated that liver fluke disease causes annual losses of approximately €90 million in Ireland.
Marta Mackowska is Laboratory Manager with Agri Diagnostics she says, “There is a growing need for veterinary bioscientists to stay up-to-date on the latest tests to diagnose liver and rumen fluke. Anti-parasitic resistance means that it’s no longer sustainable to overuse drug treatments which is why diagnostic testing is so important. A new government scheme is set to be introduced next year so testing will continue. It’s lovely to meet the next generation of veterinary bioscientists, I think it’s a great industry to be part of, our work is meaningful and what we do makes a difference to animal health.”
The company is continuing to grow and is interested to hear from people with a background in Veterinary Bioscience, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology
or a related discipline. For more information visit https:// agridiagnostics.ie/

TD Norma Foley, welcomes the announcement of a €10 million fund to support private and voluntary nursing homes with the costs of energy inflation from July to December of this year.
This key funding initiative will support all private and voluntary nursing homes that have an agreement with the National Treatment Purchase Fund for 'Fair Deal'.
Nursing homes in Kerry can apply for up to €31,500 in vouched energy rises.
They can claim for heating and electricity increases of up to €7,000

The Scheme will open for applications by 11 November at the latest and nursing homes will immediately be able to begin claiming for cost increases incurred since July.
Minister Foley said: “Private and voluntary nursing homes are the backbone of communities across Kerry and this vital funding will help to ease pressures caused by increased energy prices. This Government funding will provide

The Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage, Darragh O’Brien TD, Minister of State with responsibility for Local Government and Planning Peter Burke TD and Minister of State for Heritage and Electoral Reform Malcolm Noonan TD, have this week launched the expanded Croí Cónaithe Vacant Property Refurbishment Grant. The expanded grant now includes eligible vacant properties in both cities and more remote rural areas as well as towns and villages, The scheme’s expansion will help bring vacant and derelict properties back into residential use and ensure the existing housing stock is used to the fullest extent possible. It will also help limit emissions from residential construction and add vibrancy to Ireland’s cities and rural areas.
Under the Croí Cónaithe Vacant Property Refurbishment Grant €30,000 is available to homebuyers to refurbish a home which they will
live in. Where a property is derelict, a maximum top-up grant amount of up to €20,000 will be available, bringing the total grant available for a derelict property up to a maximum of €50,000. The grants can also be combined with the SEAI Better Energy Home Scheme that covers works of up to €26,750.
Kerry Local property expert Tommy Carmody of Tommy Carmody's Property House based in Ardfert Tralee says "This is fantastic news and I imagine the appetite for the qualifying properties will be very strongespecially now that many eligible properties are in very scenic and sought after areas by the coast and in the countryside"
Announcing the scheme’s expansion, Minister O’Brien said:This scheme provides real practical help. It helps address vacancy through sustainable reuse of buildings, it helps revitalise
our communities and, most importantly, it helps more people to own their own home.”
“The scheme has proven to be extremely popular since it was fist established in July with over 420 applications received by Local Authorities across the country. The
updated application form, eligibility criteria and associated FAQs are available online . They provide additional information to people who would like to apply for the grant. Further information will be available from the Vacant Homes Officer in each local authority.

The woman says, "I can make the boss give me the day off."
The man replies, "And how would you do that?"
The woman says, "Just wait and see." She then hangs upside-down from the ceiling. The boss comes in and says, "What are you doing?"
The woman replies, "I'm a light bulb." The boss then says, "You've been working so much that you've gone crazy. I think you need to take the day off."
The man starts to follow her and the boss says, "Where are you going?"
The man says, "I'm going home, too. I can't work in the dark."
DRINK.
Bartender says "I'm sorry sir, you already seem very drunk, I cannot serve you."
Guy gets up and leaves. A few minutes later, he comes in again, sits down at the bar and tries ordering another drink.
"I'm sorry sir, but I cannot serve you because you already seem drunk. Please leave,"
Guy gets up, grunts and wanders off again through the same exit.
Another few minutes goes by and the same guy comes back in, sits down and tries to order yet another drink.
"SIR, I'VE ALREADY TOLD YOU NOW TWICE THAT YOU'RE TOO DRUNK AND I CANNOT SERVE YOU."
Dude looks at the bartender all surprised and slurs: "How many bars do you work at?!"

A guy is walking down the street and sees a massive funeral procession. At the front of the line is a man with a pit bull, then 2 coffins, followed by 200 people. Curious, he asks the man what happened.
"Well," says the man, "My pitbull killed my wife last Thursday, then on Friday, he killed my mother-inlaw."
The first man thinks about it for a second, and says, "Would you mind if I borrowed your dog for a couple of days?"
The man shrugs, points behind him and says "Get in line."
Anyway, I got banned from my local zoo today BILL AND HIS FRIENDS WERE OUT FOR THEIR WEEKLY GOLF MATCH.
A funeral procession goes by and Bill stops I the middle of his swing, takes off his hat, and bows his head until they have moved on.
"That was pretty moving how you showed respect there Bill", one his buddies says.
"Well. We were married for 25 years!" replied Bill.

The second half was again a tight affair but our ability to score goals at crucial times proved the difference. Final score 5-11 to 0-14.
