Brasilia is the capital of Brazil.





Brasilia was founded in April 1960





by the president Juscelino Kubitscheck.



Brasilia took the place of Rio de Janeiro as capital



because of its strategic position in the map.



Brasilia is elevate 1,172 meters in brazilian highlands.



If you look to Brasilia from sky it looks like a butterfly.



Brasilia is a unique city in the world.



Brasilia is listed by Unesco as World Heritage.



The city is a world reference for urban planning.





Brasilia is the fourth largest city in Brazil



after S達o Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Salvador.



Its total population is 2,606,885 people



distributed within 5,802 km2 (density = 435/km2 ).



Brasilia is referred as “Capital of the Hope�.





Brasilia is known by its amazing architeture



signed by Oscar Niemeyer and other artists.





Brasilia is known by its sui generis art and culture.





And by its strong and exotic nature.





Brasilia is also known by its deep blue sky.





When the russian astronaut Gagarin,



who said once “Earth is blue”,



visit Brasilia he said: “it's a different planet!�



Everybody knows Brasilia is a magic place.



When you think to Brasilia you must think:

Brasilia has a very pronounced dry season.



So Paranoรก Lake is like an oasis



in a hot tropical savana climate.



Brasilia's flag shows the arrows of the natives.



But today Brasilia is a mix of people from everywhere.
