n Saturday 25th July Marton couple Kay and Adrian of K & A’s tied the knot at Saint Margaret of Antioch Church.
The church was bursting as the bride and groom walked down the aisle to Pachelbel’s Canon. The service was conducted by Reverend Phillip Wain. After the service the well-wishers spilled out of the church behind the bride and groom and into the sunshine where the photos were taken. After the photos the guests were then treated to a wonderful spread and danced the night away to Jezebel and the Bomb. Kay and Adrian would like to say a huge thank you to Chris and Lorraine for the catering, Travis for his bar skills, Rev Phillip Wain for a wonderful service, church wardens John & Diane Gibbs, Sherry for the cake, Chris Hogg for the photography. www.chrishoggphotography.co.uk plus the band Jezebel and the Bomb, and last but not least to all the guests and well-wishers.

DialaRide is happy to announce it has published a schedule of ‘Days Out Trips’ throughout 2015 for its registered clients.
Using our wheelchair-accessible minibuses, driven by one of our team of fully trained volunteer drivers, we provide our vulnerable clients with an opportunity to visit places in the country that they may otherwise be unable to go to. Clients can also purchase tickets for family members, carers and friends to accompany them and make the trip perfect for their day out. Even our clients who don’t use a wheelchair can book to come on the trips as our minibuses are flexible to add or remove seats as required for ambulant passengers. Our trips set out on Saturdays throughout the year and will pick you up and drop you straight outside your home. Our trips include: 03 October 2015

NOTE - Our prices are for the travel costs only, and all entry fees where applicable are not included in the above prices. Andrew Tysoe who works for the DialaRide and is a wheelchair user says ‘ This a great opportunity for disabled people to be able to use accessible and affordable community transport to visit great places of interest in the UK. Being driven by fully trained and considerate volunteers our service helps reduce isolation caused by lack of suitable transport and is a real feather in the cap for Lincoln and its surrounding area’. If you struggle to use public transport due to age and/or disability and live within 6 miles of Lincoln city centre you can register with us for only £10 per year. Once registered, in addition the Days Out Trips you will be able to request transport for any other journeys you may need. They may be for medical, shopping, visiting friends or family. If you, or anyone you know may be interested in booking a trip, please ring our booking line on 01522 544983 or email info.lincolndar@yahoo.co.uk for more details.

Panto is Back in Gainsborough As the evenings draw in and the winter months approach, it is time to plan for some seasonal entertainment to lighten the heart and lift the spirits. What better solution than a traditional family pantomime. For the third year running, Gainsborough Musical Theatre Society have been invited back to the Trinity Arts Centre in Gainsborough to present a show of fun, song, silliness and seasonal innuendo. Yes, rehearsals are now underway for our 2015 offering ‘Cinderella’. Cinders, Buttons, the Fairy Godmother and the Ugly Sisters are all back to see who will fit the glass slipper, marry the Prince and live happily ever after. Join a cast of local performers from Stow, Fenton and villages throughout the Gainsborough area for what is hoped will be a perfect start to the festive season. ‘Cinderella’ is on stage at the Trinity Arts Centre from the 9th until 13th December 2015 with four evening and two matinee performances. Tickets are just £10 for adults and £8 for children and are on sale now.
