THE

TREND REPORT

A Note from the Editor…

It was so much fun putting together this special edition handout version of The Trend Report just for you IAM MPLS! A city that is full of Trendsetters, artists and creatives that I am often inspired by. Make sure to check out the last full size fall issue of The Trend report at www.TrendingwithTressie.com Let me share a little more about The Trend Report and TwT with you…. I launched Trending with Tressie over 4 years ago as a way to share my knowledge, passion and obsession for new trends in the fashion and beauty industry. I had a vision of adding an extension of TwT, The Trend Report, as a way to further share my passion for editorial fashion, showcasing exclusive editorials we created to inspire. To showcase designer’s artful creations, shine a spotlight on my favorite collections of the season, and inspire with the makeup and hair trends for this season. I longed to develop a platform for artist, creators, fashion and beauty industry experts to collaborate and bring focus to their talents and connect passionate people together to create magic. But more than anything, I wanted to Inspire. I wanted to create. I wanted to ignite the passion I feel for fashion in everyone who opens The Trend Report. XO Tressie

Practical yes, but trendy mols knows how to not sacrifice fashion for comfort. Lots of fun styles to choose from including booties, loafers, oxfords and statement sneakers. Borrowed from the Boys

Whether it’s menswear inspired, boyfriend style, or boy meets girl, women are being influenced. Beyond the Beanie

In the freezing winters here, hats are often incorporated into our looks to stay warm. This Winter, local hat options are definitely growing far beyond the beanie. Wool caps, berets, wide Brim, snap backs and fab fur caps all jazz up your look while keeping you warm and cozy.

Feathery Brows Overly filled brows are

never a good look, but now the

trend

is

moving toward the

"feather brow" seen at shows like Burberry, Elie Saab, and Giambattista Valli. The term refers to lightly filled arches that are brushed up and a bit

groomed-looking. To rock the look, use quick and tiny strokes of a brow pencil to mimic brow hairs. Brush your brows up at the start and outward as you move toward the outside corner.

Bold & dark Lips Warm, slightly grungeinspired, pairs well with just about anything! Dark vampy lips are a huge fall trend for

Fall 2015! I
