Basic Info
My name is Tsen Ying Lin, Originally from Taiwan, currently lives in Shanghai, China. I am a designer specializing in footwear design, user experience, user interface,interaction design, and product design. With a interaction design master degree and a product design bachelor degree, I explore interaction design under the foundation of industrial design. Beyond the function, I seek more ludic in interaction field. I have experiences at multi-disciplinary team working such as OpenHCI Workshop as assistant. My thesis project is thermo-semiotics for Interaction design. I regards "temperature" as design material and present some thermo-concepts with thermoelectric cooler(TEC). I'm a designer full of curiosity and energy. I love to try something new. I also took the knitting course in Politecnico di Milano as exchange student. After taking master degree, I became footwear designer in Taiwan footwear ＆ Recreation Technology Research Institute. The institute is established to be consultant of local Taiwanese firms, my design varies from kid shoes, wedding shoes, leisure shoes, sport shoes...etc, I love to analysis and combine lots of materials and try 3d structure on shoes design, sometimes referring from architecture and transportation design, to me , design is no rules, I believe design is a knowledge combined of all the fields, different treasurable experience could be design material one day in the future. rom 2017 on , I started to explore the opportunity worldwide and became Italy shoes brand ACBC footwear designer in TRISTATE, Shanghai, being translator and contact between global team and China team Shanghai/ FTY in GZ. In addition, I also present proposal to NAUTICA global team.
