Walking Zone stands for daily life of Londoner- intersection. The brand is full of expolring, cozy and personality. Basical collection includes leisure and sport shoes.The mix of different maerials: mesh,kids suede, nubucks and metal leather. The balance of soft and hard to show the layering and conflict between different materials. The pattern design is also with sharp outline and keep the style to be no-gender.

SKETCH Wearable Smart shoes The way how designer communicates with others and trasfers thoughts is via quick draft. In my point of view, shoes won't be just shoes itself, it could be attached with high-tech, it interacts with people together, even records one's behavior(Pedometer), For example, Orphe smart shoes, Boogio, Spain brand-Ishuu zapotos Inteligentes que cambian de color(Volcorii)tracing the dancer's movement or changing shoes color with app, ShiftWear with E ink.

ARONTINE / 2D Sketching / Outsole Planning / Product / 2016 Taipei in Style
is Wendding shoes brand of Mometanee Arontine 2017 collection focuses on custermized shoes- Name punching. (ANGELO with two basic choices: black and white). For this project, I design the corpoate typeface for 26 letters based on VOGUE-DIDOT font type. Besides,for daily life collection, I design cross-knitting shoes with light grey,dark navy and white stripes(ANDRE). ANDRE could go with formal or informal outfit. Outsole is combined of leather with part of rubber( to prevent for slippery).

COMBINATION OF MODERN AND CLASSIC The geometric pattern combined with different materials to present the modern as well as classic style. Sotisphicated bi-layer tessal with high-light color underneath . Besides,I highlight the teeth embroidery on the side .Instead of combining with traditional leather outsole,I prefer sporty outsole to make it more modern.

01 /EMBROIDERY & CROSS VAMP/
Cross-vamp embroidered Dragon technically challenges the traditional making process, including cutted pieces arrangement and mechanical limit, besides, unlike the flat 2D embroidery ,cross-vamp crouching dragon shows front, middle, back spatial space, making Dragon free to shuttle among these three vamps. The punch is R7mm to make it playful.
/COLOR PLAN& FONT/
3 c o l o r p l a n s : o n e c o l o r, o n l y w i t h o u t l i n e , multi-color.The font choice is Yan Zhenqing's calligraphy. To bring the ancient font back to now.

Sporty dress shoes are thriving. Nowadays, classic dress shoes design with sporty outsole leads a new trend, and these two conflict elements unexpectedly well-fused together. In function, it reaches the urbanite requirement of comfort, at the same time, 『Dragon』also advocates the characteristic esthetics to people.

Above the cloud, outsole design endows the fearless power to the wearers. The simple and sharp ridgeline with exquisite curve proportion makes Dragon in trend.
/PATTERN & TR/
With traditional ditch cover pattern,DRAGON is still in such a conflict beaty balance. The outsole material choice is Termoplastic rubber(TR): 1.Easy and economic processing. 2.Excellent value for money 3.Great aesthetic versatility 4.Full recyclability 5.Lighter than rubber. 6.Good brasion resistant.

OTHERS No limit. From the very begining, I sketch from graphic point of view, not thinking the shoes structure,then, I start to design every kind of shoes, kids, casual, wedding, silver group... Under this training, my design is gonna be more flexible when facing different project and target users.

From prototyping to 3D, even finishing. In FRT cases, I try from many experimental methods of shoes-making. GILL is my first shoes to use the flip-over one piece vamp, though here is still some construction issue or wearble comfort problem, I insist to think some spatial 3D construction of vamp design based on my industial background. In PATINA case, I try unique brush texture with many interesting tools.

/TEXTURE & RETRO/
Colorists use any tools to create their own textures. PATINA is originally a thin layer that variously forms on the surface of stone; on c o p p e r, b r o n z e a n d s i m i l a r m e t a l s ( t a r n i s h produced by oxidation or other chemical processes). When it comes toshoes finish techique, PATINA stands for color unevenness and antique effect. Here is no rule for PATINA, and it's all about the colorist imagination. The shading of color reveals a trace of time.

/RE-PAINTED & COLOR/
First, use de-color techique to remove the base, than, than paint agian with other color dye or wax to change the color. Different from the traditional tanning process, PATINA makes the leather a sense of color hierarchy( two-tone). The color won't be just one dead color, it's alive with color fusion.Also, for a little amount custormized shoes, it won't be a waste to stock lots of leathers.
/PERSONALITY & CRAFT/
It's a symbol of one's mood, track, indivisual identity, even his/her own story, can't be copied or taken away. Every PATINA shoes stands for a connection among wearer, colorist and shoes. It's art, not somthing under mass production. It's one of a kind abject with temperature.
