If you are a first-time guest, we invite you to complete a guest card from a pew pocket or the Friendship Register and drop it in the offering plate so that we may get acquainted with you. Also, text “Explore” to 816-355-4736. We would like to communicate with you via text and email with some brief informational messages over the next few weeks. Your information is private and will not be used for any other purpose than to keep you informed about 2BC. Please see an usher if you’d like a listening aid.

Each Sunday in the Welcome Center (just inside the Kansas Street entrance on Level 1), Our Hospitality Team is waiting to help you get connected. This may include finding a Bible study class, showing you where children and student ministries meet, or sharing the day’s activities and schedule. You may also enjoy a cup of coffee at the Welcome Center’s coffee bar and get to know others at Second. Children’s worship bags, filled with books and activities, are available at the Sanctuary entrances. If you’d like an alternative for your children, childcare for birth through Pre-K is available on Level 2 at any point in the service. Our Welcome Center is also available for those with restless infants, and you can view the service on a monitor there.

In addition to placing your offering in the offering plate, you can give online at 2bcliberty.org/give or via your smartphone by scanning this QR code. We have “online giving” cards in the pew rack that you can place in the offering plate to represent your gift if you choose.

Take a moment to prepare your heart for worship. The Apostles’ Creed I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. I believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven, he is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Christian Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else. C. S. Lewis

Leader:

I lift up my eyes to the hills—from where will my help come?

People:

My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.

Leader:

No one can see the kingdom of God without being born from above.

People:

How can anyone be born again after growing old?

Leader:

For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son,

People:

So that everyone who believes in him may not perish but have eternal life.

MISSIONS BOOK AND A BUCK

Do you have wonderful Bible study and devotional materials that you can hardly bear to part with even though you haven't used them in years? Here's a chance to find a new, useful home for those treasures. Bring your books to the church Welcome Center any time from now through July, labeled “A Book and a Buck.” A 2BC SEND group will take the books to the Baptist Men's Camp in Shelby, North Carolina, where they'll be boxed up with other donations and shipped to a new seminary library overseas. You're invited to be a

part of that SEND group if you're interested! It's a great activity for youth, too!

It's expensive to ship books so we can also use your "Bucks." Please consider donating any amount of cash to help pay for the shipping costs. Once we get the books to NC, it costs 40 cents a pound to ship them. Our goal for this collection is a ton - 2,000 pounds of books! That will cost about $800 after the books are on the ship. Too many books to manage? Just call Karen Rogers at 816-808-0080 and we'll arrange to pick up the books from your home. For more information visitThe Fellowship of Baptist Educators website, http:/thefellowshipofbaptisteducators.org (you'll love the North Carolina accent in the video). BLOOD DRIVE

There is currently an urgent need for blood in our community and you are invited to attend the next blood drive at St. James Catholic Church in Liberty on Tuesday, March 21, from 12:30-7:00PM in the social hall.
