Making the Good News Good Again, Recovering the Wonder of the Gospel by Judson Edwards. Edwards has been a pastor for more than 30 years. In this book, he asks questions shared by many longtime Christians. Wouldn’t it be great if the Bible fascinated us once again? Wouldn’t we do almost anything to sense the presence of God anew in our lives? Wouldn’t we pay almost anything to get the wonder back?

Student Summer Weekly Schedule Sunday Mornings
9:45 a.m.: Bible Study in Student Min. Space 11:00 a.m.: Worship in Sanctuary Large group community time, then break out and go to Middle and High School classes.
Sunday Nights 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.: InnerMission in Student Min. Space (all ages; beginning July 12). No dinner served...eat before you come! The first hour will be a chance to hang out, worship together, and have a centering time of devotion and discussion. The second hour will be a recreation time to play games and have fun together. Some of the games will be at the church, but for some, we'll also venture out into the neighborhood. The game will be different each week and we'll let everyone know through the newsletter and social media what activity is coming up.
Wednesday Nights 5:00pm-7:00pm: Coffee Talk with Charles at Caribou Coffee (all ages; at Hy-Vee gas) For the middle of the week, we will offer a time where everyone can come, relax, and enjoy each other's company. This will be a low-key, come-and-go-as-you-please kind of thing. Stop in and say hello or grab some coffee or a smoothie and stay awhile. Everyone is invited!
