Stephen Ministry | Who can receive care through our Stephen Ministry? Care receivers are people—congregation members and others in the community—who are hurting and who receive care from a Stephen Minister. These are people struggling through a difficult time in life—experiencing grief, divorce, job loss, chronic or terminal illness, or some other life challenges or struggles. If you could benefit from confidential care from the 2BC Stephen Ministry, contact Associate Pastor Mike Lassiter (mlassiter@2bcliberty. org or 816-781-2924 ext. 307) or Referral Coordinator Carol Kingery (ckingery@kc.rr.com or 816-916-8407).
