FAITH COMMUNITY NEWSLETTER

Today, Jason and Christy Edwards and our Deacons will host a church-wide Christmas Party at Jason and Christy’s home, 431 Arthur, Liberty, MO.

Thank you for a great Christmas Store The Christmas Store was a success because of YOU! Your prayers, your cookies, your time and your gifts were just what we needed to extend Christ's love to the for 62 families and 202 children we partnered with. We have two requests for things that will help us prepare for next year's store: 1. The Store items need to be sorted and counted before going into long term storage for next year. If you are able and like to count socks, gloves and stocking stuffers, please make plans to help in the Assembly Room on Monday, Dec. 14, 9-10:30 a.m. 2. We would love to hear your stories about the Store. Lives were changed, and mamy of you got to experience that! Email your stories to Jason at jedwards@2bcliberty.org or Karri at karri.george@gmail.com. — John and Karri George and Kristin Wooldridge

Church Health Survey Results

Attitudes about Sunday Services at 2BC Nearly everyone in the 136 church members who took our Church Health Survey is in agreement that our services are well organized…we certainly run a tight ship on Sunday mornings. You also agree that Sunday sermons are relevant to us. While a majority of our community agrees that the current music selection in Sunday morning services benefits their worship experience, there is a minority who are looking for something different. Ministerial Staff Action Steps: • We recognize and respect the traditional Sunday morning services at 8:30am and 11:00am that so many of us enjoy. We will not be modifying the current style and structure of these services. • We are in the early stages of exploring a 3rd Sunday morning service that would launch in 2016. This service would be an alternative in worship style to our current offerings.

Next week, we will share findings for missions and opportunities provided for serving in missions.
