GETTING TO KNOW ONE ANOTHER Worship Leaders Today

Nick Bartlow has been a member of Second since 2000. He currently serves on the Leadership Development Committee and enjoys cooking for Wednesday night meals. Nick works at Barkley helping companies to achieve their goals and objectives. Helen Brown has a been member of Second Baptist since the fall of 1967 when she moved to Liberty with husband, Don, to join the music faculty of William Jewell College. She is involved in the Sanctuary Choir, the Adult Handbell Choir, and the Middle School Handbell Choir as well as many other church activities. Angela Bush and Steve have been members at Second since 1990. Angela is the director of Second Friends Preschool, teaches preschool Sunday School, leads our GAs on Wednesday evenings, and is an active deacon. Anna Davis is a senior at Liberty High School. In the fall, she has been accepted and will be attending UMKC in the 6 year BA/MD medical program. In her spare time, she enjoys swimming, running and spending time with family and friends. Emma Davis is a sophomore at Liberty High School. She is active in school plays and musicals. She enjoys playing the guitar and sings in both the school and church choir. She loves to read and hang out with friends. Her sister is Anna and parents are Chuck and Bev Davis. Lydia Dilts is a kindergartner at Lewis and Clark. She is the middle daughter of Jason and Jennifer Dilts. Ben Lassiter has been at Second since he was two years old. He works at American Century Investments and enjoys helping with the youth. He is married to Allison whom he met at Second while looking for donuts in the nursery. Allison Lassiter has been at Second since her junior year at William Jewell. She teaches English at Kearney High School, and she continues to enjoy helping with the kids and youth. She met Ben while working as the Extended Session Coordinator.

Getting Connected Each Sunday in the Welcome Center (just inside the Kansas Street entrance on Level 1), our Connections Team is waiting to help you get “connected.” This may include finding a Bible study class, showing you where children and student ministries meet, or sharing the days’ activities and schedule. You may also choose simply to enjoy a cup of coffee at the Welcome Center’s coffee bar and get to know others at Second.
