Welcome Guests If you are a first-time guest, please complete a guest card from a pew pocket or Friendship Register and drop it in the offering plate so that we may acknowledge your visit and get acquainted with you. We are glad you have joined us for worship today. ________________________ Meditations If you would be a real seeker after truth, it is necessary that at least once in your life you doubt, as far as possible, all things. – René Descartes Doubts are the ants in the pants of faith. They keep it awake and moving. – Frederick Buechner If Christ spent an anguished night in prayer, if He burst out from the Cross, ‘My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?’ then surely we are also permitted doubt. But we must move on. To choose doubt as a philosophy of life is akin to choosing immobility as a means of transportation. – Yann Martel, Life of Pi
