A Responsive Confession Leader:
O Lord, you desire truth in our inward being;
People: teach us wisdom in our secret heart. Leader:
Send out your light, send out your truth,
People: and let them lead us to our home.
Leader:
Take from us the weight of our sin,
People: that room might be made for the spirit of truth. Leader:
If we prepare a dwelling place, that spirit will abide within us,
People: and the truth will set our spirits free. Leader: People: Leader: People:
Then shall we love not only in word or in speech; then shall we love in deed and in truth, and by this know that our service is faithful. O Lord, you desire truth in our inward being; teach us wisdom in our secret heart. Amen.

Leader: The Good News of Our Lord. People: Praise be to Our Lord, Jesus Christ! Worship in Music (8:30) Choral Worship “Passacaglia of Praise” Craig Courtney The Sanctuary Choir; Michelle Cook, flute I will praise Thee, O my Savior, I will magnify Thy name; Yea, my heart and tongue rejoicing, Thy salvation shall proclaim. I will praise Thee, O my Savior, and Thy wondrous love recall: Thou hast covered my transgressions by Thy off’ring once for all. For Thy gift by faith that saves me, precious gift of grace so free, shall my soul pour out its fullness in a grateful song to Thee. Thou hast covered my transgressions with Thy righteousness divine. Through Thy mercy I was pardoned, cleansed and made a child of Thine. I will praise Thee, O my Savior, till my mortal pow’rs shall fail; then in nobler strains I’ll praise Thee when I anchor in the vale. For Thy gift by faith that saves me, precious gift of grace so free, shall my soul pour out its fullness in a grateful song to Thee. ©Text by Fanny Crosby
