Flowers for Worship The pink and green flowers this morning are provided by Steve and Karen Trischler in honor of their 20th wedding anniversary on June 25. The white flowers in worship today are provided by Tyler Tankersley in honor of his beautiful wife, Jessica, and their sixth wedding anniversary.

 PRAYER CONCERNS Christian sympathy is extended to Rolland and Barbara Yoakum and family in the death of Rolland’s uncle, Colonel Alan Compton, on June 6 in Pinecrest, CA. Getting To Know One Another Worship Leaders Today

Teresa Anderson is married to Matt and works in healthcare information technology. She and Matt share their home with their cat, Gus. Jason Edwards is Senior Pastor. He was called to Second Baptist in 2009. (Learn more about our ministry team at 2bcliberty.org/meetourstaff.) Larry Jones and Linda joined Second in 2004. Larry serves as a deacon and enjoys serving coffee at the coffee bar on Sunday mornings. He is the Director of Health for the City of Independence. Linda Jones is the Church Administrator at Second. She was a school teacher for 15 years. Larry and Linda have three children and six grandchildren with another two on the way! (Learn more about our ministry team at 2bcliberty.org/meetourstaff.) Patsy Triplett and Dan have been members for many years. Patsy is chairman of the Arts and Environment Committee who are responsible for many of the lovely seasonal decorations at Second. Paul Twenter joined Second in 2008 with wife, Julie, and daughters Paige and Mallory. Paul excels in outdoor grilling. Lily Weaver completed fourth grade at Lewis and Clark. She is the daughter of Kevin and Christi Weaver. Becky Whited has been a member of 2BC since 1998. Ron is her dear husband. She is a retired ESL teacher. Becky teaches fifth grade Bible Study, sings in the adult choir, and works with our ESL ministry. Ron Whited has been at Second since 1990 He owns his own software development company. He and Becky have a blended family of four children and three grandchildren. Ron leads the Media/ Worship Video Team here at Second.


Getting Connected Each Sunday in the Welcome Center (just inside the Kansas Street entrance on Level 1), our Connections Team is waiting to help you get “connected.” This may include finding a Bible study class, showing you where children and student ministries meet, or sharing the days’ activities and schedule. You may also choose simply to enjoy a cup of coffee at the Welcome Center’s coffee bar and get to know others at Second.
