Dudley and his wife are friends of Jeff and Rae Moore and were in the U.S. from their home in Eleuthera for treatment of Dudley’s cancer. Services will be held in Eleuthera. GETTING TO KNOW ONE ANOTHER Worship Leaders Today
Allan Aunspaugh began serving as Minister of Music at Second Baptist Church in August 2003. He is a native of Arkansas and a graduate of Arkansas Tech University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. In his spare time, he enjoys home remodeling, yard work, genealogy, and reading. (Learn more about our ministry team at 2bcliberty.org/meetourstaff.) Nick Bartlow has been at Second since 2000. He serves on the Leadership Development Committee and teaches a Young Adult Bible Study with Carrie. He is the Director of Commercialization at Farmland Foods. He and wife Carrie have three children: Wakefield, Ramsey, and Deacon. Judy Boring has been attending Second since she was Judy Coffman, age five. She loves the people, the fellowship, and the opportunities to learn, grow, and serve. She is married to Dean Boring. Christy Edwards and Jason are the parents to Jackson (5), Luke (3), and eight-month old Norah Ree. Christy serves on the Missions Committee and provides key leadership for our Christmas Store initiative and the new Fair Trade emphasis coming this fall. She is an active member of 2BC community groups and MOPS Nathan Goodpasture and Sandy have been at 2BC since 2013. They are parents to Jude, Theodore and Magnolia Josephine. Nathan and Sandy are active in the Children’s Ministry and Wednesday night Sanctuary. Michele Peck is a teacher in the Liberty School District. She and Brad are the parents of two daughters, Ally and Hope. Michele has previously served on the Personnel Committ Gwen Phillips is the Children’s Pastor at Second Baptist. She and Harold have been members for 25 years. They have one grown daughter, Rachel. (Learn more about our ministry team at 2bcliberty.org/ meetourstaff.) Harold Phillips served as Minister of Education at 2BC from 1987 to 1995. He is the state coordinator for CBF Heartland and a member of the Liberty City Council. Aiden Velder is a second grader at Northland Christian School. He is the son of Mike and Mandy Velder.
Getting Connected Each Sunday in the Welcome Center (just inside the Kansas Street entrance on Level 1), our Connections Team is waiting to help you get “connected.” This may include finding a Bible study class, showing you where children and student ministries meet, or sharing the days’ activities and schedule. You may also choose simply to enjoy a cup of coffee at the Welcome Center’s coffee bar and get to know others at Second.
