Who are we? OUR MISSION As leaders in the housing industry since 1942, we are dedicated to protecting the industry while promoting ethical business practices and standards. We support our community through education, membership requirements and philanthropic efforts.

Our core purpose is to unite home building professionals to unite the industry.
Local, state and national government relations and lobbying keep the housing affordable and limit regulation. In a typical year, actions save $9,866 on each new home. Your membership advances our efforts and increases the impact.

As Members in good standing of the Home Builders Association of Greater Tulsa, Inc., we believe in and accept the responsibilities and obligations inherent in the home building profession. Basic to these ethical beliefs, we support the following objectives: • To conduct business affairs with professionalism, integrity, and skill.

Greater Tulsa Home & Garden Show:
Greater Tulsa Parade of Homes:
Home Remodeling Showcase:
Tulsa’s largest and longestrunning home and garden products trade show with more than 500 exhibitors. Takes place in March.
The only local new home showcase event and one of the country’s largest. Offering more than 150 homes on display from Bartlesville to Coweta, ranging in prices from $150,000-$1,000,000+. Takes place in June.
Hosted by the Remodeler’s Council, this event addresses one of the fastest growing areas of the home building industry, remodeling. The event is the premier showcase of recently remodeled Homes. Takes place over one weekend in September.

How do you benefit? PROMOTION The Tulsa HBA spends over $800,000 annually, or $800 per member, on industry and member promotion. This includes consumer events as well as a branding campaign endorsing members.

COUNCILS 40 Below Council Industry professionals under 40 years old that inspire innovation through networking, professional development and community outreach.

Sales and Marketing Council SMC is open to all members and provides training in sales and marketing to industry professionals. They meet for events, networking and educational lunches.
Associates Council Company representatives who participate and support all activities and events of the HBA uniting with builder members for the purpose of providing a forum for exchanging information
Builders Council Industry professionals who meet monthly to discuss topics and issues relating to the building industry as well as exchanging information.
Developers Council HBA members and city representatives that hold the responsibility of overseeing all activities (i.e., codes, zoning, development, infrastructure, land use) related to bringing raw land to finished lots.
Remodelers Council A national council dedicated to fostering excellence, professionalism and public awareness through education and certification to its members, service to the community and philanthropic events.
