Greetings and Salutations Tidewater, I want to thank Erin Clark for hosting our January meeting. I think the print critique was a success thanks to Don Monteaux, Tracy McGhee and Robert Holman. We really do have some very talented, knowledgeable and helpful masters here in Tidewater. Take your images to them, with appointments, throughout the year for some good solid feedback. We couldn’t spend much time on the goal setting round table. I’d like to schedule that for another time because it would be valuable for everyone. February is upon us and with it comes our annual Convention. I hope you’ve got all your images entered and paid for. I’m expecting to see merits for all your efforts. We’re trying to make sure Tidewater wins the coveted title for best in VPPA for 2019. We can’t get there if you don’t submit your work. And don’t forget the Pre-Con class: Pre Con - Gary Hughes "Success with Commercial Portraits" Our March meeting begins VA Reel for 2019. Leadership has lined up some amazing speakers for us this year. John Chandler will be presenting at Bob Harper Photography in Hampton on March 4th. His presentation is “Harnessing the Power of your Spare Room.” John is a PPA M. Photog., Cr and CPP. I believe our host now holds those degrees too. Congratulations Bob! And congratulations to all those who received degrees at Imaging USA this year. Make sure your wear that bling at Convention and at our monthly meetings. See you at Convention.
