Greetings and Salutations Tidewater, I feel like I'm just coming down to earth following a most amazing summer seminar. From Michael Patch to Richard Sturdevant the weekend revealed one talented and knowledgeable presenter after the other. I left with plenty to think over and study to improve my photography. I want to learn how to tell better stories through imagery. I hope you did too. Our Tidewater journey continues on Monday the 16th at Kaiser Custom Images (401 Waters Rd, Chesapeake, VA 23322). with Craig Shaffer who will regale us with his creative process of photo art compositing. He certainly tells some stories with his imagery. He'll discuss concept development, style, technique, software and asset collection and share his favorite sources for tutorials, digital ephemera (things that exist or are used or enjoyed for only a short time - sorry I had to look this one up), and inspiration. I know I'm looking forward to seeing Craig and learning more about how to be inspired. For those us who like to join for dinner at La Parilla 1501 Cedar Road, Suites 106-109, Chesapeake, VA 23322 meet at 5 p.m. This meeting is an important one. We’re nominating officers for 2020 and a good turn out will help ensure more of our voices are heard. If you intend to nominate someone please discuss it with them prior
to tossing their name into the ring. Please register for the meeting either online or with your Wild Apricot App. Your Governor, Steven Radcliffe steve@slrimagery.com www.slrimagery.com 757-409-0371
