Greetings and Salutations Tidewater,

With Casey Scalf at Storybook Studios as host, a very helpful VA Reel program wrapped up with Carly Fogelman’s presentation on "Take the Mystery Out of the Squares." It's safe to say that Instagram is less a mystery today for some of us than it was. She also discussed writing effective bios, captions and hash tagging, that can be utilized on Facebook as well. Her program was well received by all who attended and I'm sure much of what she shared will be employed going forward. Our thanks go to Mary Fisk-Taylor for assembling such an outstanding cast of characters for 2019. Coming up next is our summer social on Sunday, 28 July at Taphouse Live Entertainment, 931 W 21st St, Norfolk, VA 23517. We'll begin at 4 p.m. when they open. When we leave will depend on what's on your Monday calendar. The Uber App is available for those who are inclined to indulgently imbibe. Next up is the Summer Seminar. Registration is open. If you've not installed the Wild Apricot App on your phone, please do so. It will make registering for events easier for you and your governor, not that that matters. We have a block of rooms to fill at the hotel so make your reservations soon. Also, prep the next round of images for our informal image critique. Upload them to printcompetition.com just like the real deal for our 2020 Convention. For our new members, this will be a dress rehearsal on the process.
