I'm excited about the newborn class and program that I'll be offering at my studio this month and Erin Clark will be hosting a great class with Mona Sadler. Upcoming Speakers and Events October 16th at Anne Companion Photography in Hampton (112 Kings Way) we will have a two-part program; from 1-5pm Anne will lead a class on lighting and posing for newborn portraits with a live demonstration. This class will be free for VPPA members and $40 for nonmembers; please to go www.vppa.org to register for the class as soon as possible as space is limited! Then in the evening Anne will go over some of the images from the class and talk about the process of working with newborns, from the first contact with the parents through the session itself and the ordering appointment."

The theme will be composites but the class will cover a lot of things you need to know in order to do a composite. The class will also be student driven in that you are to tell me beforehand what you want to learn and that will become part of the agenda. Taught by AwardWinning, Mona K. November 20th we will have our image critique meeting; bring your potential competition images for some constructive criticism and recommendations from VPPA experts! And December 4th we will have our annual holiday social; it will take place at Off the Hook restaurant, 500 Battlefield Blvd, Chesapeake.
