Bandmaster ‘blows his own horn’ The Rotary Club of Bellville’s Charité Concert was held in the Durbanville High School auditorium on Friday. Proceeds from the concert will be donated to the Alta du Toit Aftercare Centre in Bellville. The concert featured performances by the Tygerberg City Choir, the SA Navy Band, the Cape Field Artillery Pipes and Drums, and the baritone Barend van der Westhuizen. Riekus Bressler played the tuba and also acted as bandmaster during some of the items.
