This comes as malls in the areas are slowly returning to pre-lockdown levels of foot traffic and residents questioned precautionary measures. One of the most popular malls in Table View, Bayside Mall, said the health and safety of everyone visiting and working in the
centre remains their primary focus. Aadilah Ryklief, Bayside Mall’s centre manager, added that they continue to ensure that the mall is safe, secure, and clean by following stringent safety and hygiene protocols on an ongoing basis. “All trading tenants have their own safety and hygiene measures in place which includes sanitising of hands upon entering stores, disinfecting of trolleys, trolley bays and baskets and distance markers to ensure social distancing. “All staff have been issued with protective gear to further curb the spread of the virus and to keep them safe.
