Colourful performance Capriccio! Arts Powered Preschool in Ascot Road, Milner ton, recently hosted their school concert at The View Church attended by over 200 guests. The event, themed “The Academy Awards”, was held on Tuesday 5 December. arents have been encouraged to familiarise themselves with modern technology in order to prevent their children from becoming victims of cyberbullying. This is the advice given by Sharon Knowles from the Da Vinci Foundation, an organisation that specialises in cyber security. Knowles says staying educated and being tech savvy is the most important thing parents can do to protect their children on so-
cial media and the internet these days. “If a child is being groomed or cyber-bullied and a parent is unable to use the technology their child is using, the chances of them being able to intervene and protect that child are slim. “As a parent, it is your responsibility to be technologically proficient with the devices you are placing in your children’s hands,” says Knowles.
