PROJECT BRIEF
Project Overview
Project Outcomes
In this project students will be required to work through several exercises to create a framework for a mobile application. Students will be required to show a cumulative understanding of typographic design. New opportunities for exploring hierarchical grids will be explored.
Students will be responsible for: •
A finished comprehensive conceptual plan for a walking/wandering app. • The app must provide an interface for the various media made available with a mobile device; i.e., video, sound, geo location, etc. • A 12 page digital process book showing typographic research and inspiration along with wireframing of the app.

Map search function The ability to search while still in the map interface is important to avoid the hassle of going back and forth between screens too often.
Citymapper
Location save function It’s nice to be able to save previous searches and locations in case one wants to revisit an area without having to re-search for that location.

Menu layout The menu here is simple and nicely laid out. The use of icons along with the text make the menu easier to use.

Listing and map functions The list of items separated by thin, light lines is very nice and clean looking. It is smart to have icons on the map that indicate where places of interest are.
