OUR BRAND

GLUE IS DEAD

Glue

is dead and we are here to prove it with Bondic™ - The World’s First Liquid Plastic Welder. We make glue look like the antiquated, third-rate, old-fashioned, laughable stepchild of paste that it’s always been.

How many times has glue let us down? Fingers stuck together, broken toys that we just can’t fix, having to throw out our stuff because gluing it only made it worse. Not to mention just when 6 we need glue most we discover our 3-month-old bottle is as dry as the Sahara Desert on a hot day. Bondic™ is the only product that works where glue fails. It’s liquid plastic that only hardens when you need it to. YES it stays liquid and won’t dry out like those crazy glues on the market today. Bondic™ is a very simple 4-step process (clean, fill, cure and shape) to fix almost anything, saving countless precious items from ending up in the trash before their time. Never again will we be at the mercy of sticky, messy and exasperating adhesives that do anything BUT what we need them to do. We live in a plastic and disposable world today, so much so that Ken and Barbie almost look human in comparison.

Our mission is to save expensive items and hard earned money by not having to replace them every year or even every month! Oh and while we’re at it, contribute to shrinking a landfill or two. Bondic™ is a pocket size liquid plastic welder that’s ready at all times to fix almost anything, especially in emergency situations. Broke your heel? Sat on your glasses? Can’t get a charge because your wires are stripped? We’re putting pieces back together left right and center, so much so that even Humpty Dumpty is getting his day! We know finding replacements to products can be hard 7 and likely more expensive than the original cost. Bondic™ not only fixes things but it can make them stronger than the original. The more you layer the stronger Bondic™ gets; you can’t say that about glue! That’s why glue is dead, and we confess we killed it. Bondic™ – Your Hard Fix for Sticky Situations - the world will never believe how they lived without it.

FROM MEDICAL...

Dr. 8

Thomas Offermann DDS never in a million years thought he would enter the DIY/ Home Improvement industry throughout his extensive career as a dental practitioner in Munich, Germany. This all changed when a patient asked him for a syringe of the dental composite commonly used for filling and bonding teeth, to fix his coffee maker. It didn’t take long before one request turned into a 3 Kilo order. When Dr. Offermann investigated further he saw how valuable this substance was, far surpassing its current use, with thousands of possibilities before him. From that moment on Dr. Offermann was on fire and not a single day passed without discovering a new application. After several years of testing and many extensive formulas, the technical transfer from dentistry to general use by virtually everyone and for almost anything led to the birth of Bondic™ and the beginning of infinite possibilities.

...TO MAINSTREAM From medical to mainstream, Dr. Offermann, a dentist turned visionary, invented a product that is revolutionizing the home improvement world. After seeing the success over a few years in Germany, Dr. Offermann partnered with Rob Harbauer to launch Bondic™ to the North American market in 2013 and as a result, Bondic™ is rapidly becoming a household name. From saving people’s smiles to saving our treasured possessions, Bondic™ is available worldwide in many major retail chain stores across the globe. 9

BONDIC™ PRINCIPLES Bondic™ works best on rough surfaces and even better with undercuts Bondic™ solidifies only by exposure to UV light (LED included)

10

Bondic™ works best in layers (the maximum thickness of one layer is 1–1.5 mm) Bondic™ works best when the surface is clean and free of grease Bondic™ is solvent free, which is one reason why it doesn’t dry out Bondic™ is a liquid plastic welder that should be used with the principle of welding and not gluing

4 STEPS, 4 SECONDS SAND For a permanent bond, create a rough surface. For a temporary bond, keep the surface smooth. MAKE IT ROUGH

FILL Apply the liquid plastic to desired area making sure there is room for the UV light 11 to cure.

FILL

CURE The UV light will harden the liquid plastic in 4 seconds. Add layers for a stronger bond.

CURE

SHAPE File, sand, mold and/or paint for desired results.

SHAPE

A TOOL FOR EVERYONE THE EVERYDAY USER

We

would classify this group as the general population, men and women between the ages of 25-85 and people who typically would have some form of glue or adhesive in their “tool” drawer. With Bondic™ being a tool it’s likely that the majority of initial purchasers will be men, however we expect to see a high increase in women purchasing this product as the brand exposure increases and they appreciate the benefits just as much. 12 The people in this category range in income. Because the product starts in the $20 range, people in the middle to upper class will easily purchase it without thinking twice about the cost. They value their possessions and respect a product that could sustain the life of their belongings. We also view these people as adventurers who like to try new things because of the hype attached to it. The more buzz a product gets the more they have to have it. The biggest retailer in the world is Walmart and of course our demographic shops there, not because they have to, but because they want to. They enjoy knowing they are getting a bargain even though they don’t need it. They will look for new

items on the market just to be the first ones to use them. They frequently shop at DIY retailers for their home improvement needs and are comfortable buying products online and communicating on social media.

THE DIY HANDY PERSON

This

demographic will be drawn to Bondic™ as a go-to tool for them to use specifically in their DIY or Home Improvement projects. They will seek out more innovative ways to 13 use Bondic™ and be more creative with the product. When we release the Bondic™ Pro it will especially appeal to this market and likely be a big hit with amateur professionals who want to use it for larger and more sophisticated applications. Also, as frequent shoppers at DIY retailers, they are looking for new ways to improve the quality of their work and the efficiency of their tasks. They will definitely invest more in a tool than the average user given that it will be utilized on a regular basis and enhance their overall experience. In addition to home renovation we also have craftsmen and artists in this category. People who would purchase Bondic™ as a tool to use in their hobbies, be it modeling, art, sculpting and so much more.

THE DIY HANDY PERSON CONTINUED A creative bunch with vision, this is a large part of our target audience and likely the ones who will become the most loyal to the Bondic™ brand. Much like our general population they are comfortable with innovative and new products as well as technology and online purchasing.

INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS

Anyone

in the trade industry; electricians, auto-body, wood-working, construction, contractors, engineers, interior design and blue collar individuals who work 14 with their hands and tools for a living. They will carry Bondic™ with them on all their jobs as it will prove to be one of their most used tools. Eventually they will be introduced to Proformic, the B2B Industrial version of Bondic™, on a large scale where industry, medical facilities, factories, service, mechanical companies and businesses who staff these professionals will purchase Bondic™ in bulk. Even before Proformic enters the market, Bondic™ will be a valuable tool for this demographic and they will likely purchase Bondic™ Pro as well once it is released to the public.

WORKS WHERE GLUE FAILS

Modern 18

society has been faced with an epidemic since 1942 when Dr. Harry Coover Jr. accidentally invented the first super glue. Since then it’s been one sticky situation after another and many body parts have been inadvertently stuck together rather than the actual things needing repair. Glue has unfortunately been the main solution in our culture for a quick fix to our chipped or broken treasures… that is, until now.

We’ve done what Dr. Coover could only dream of. We’ve created Bondic™. Not only can Bondic™ repair your broken items, it can and will make them stronger than before. Why? Because Bondic™ is not a glue. It’s a liquid plastic welder that hardens only when exposed to the UV LED light and it’s small enough to fit in your pocket. It’s the best household item the public will wonder how they lived without for so long. Time is on your side with Bondic™ because it won’t harden until you are ready to cure it with the UV light. Once the liquid

S plastic is exposed to the UV light it cures in 3-4 seconds, no minutes of waiting time, no pressure needed. We are creating the magic of transforming liquid plastic into a solid and forming a bond stronger than glue could ever be! Bondic™ will not stick to skin and has virtually no mess. Glue determines the working time; with Bondic™ the control is with the user. Build with it, sand it, shape it, file and mold it - the more layers, the stronger the bond and it even works under water! Bondic™ enhances the durability of existing products by building and strengthening the original design and inspiring 19 innovation with its 3D design functionality!

OUR STRONG STANCE

Bondic 24

™ is the world’s first liquid plastic welder that you can bond, build, fix and fill almost anything you can think of with 4 easy steps and in just 4 seconds. Bondic™ is not glue. It’s a bonding agent made from liquid plastic (monomers) that harden into plastic (polymers) when cured with the UV LED light. Bondic™ works where glue fails for almost any type of situation because with Bondic™ you can build up on the item or itself instantly. At the same time we have the ability to add layer upon layer for an increasingly stronger bond. Unlike glue, Bondic™ has multi-purposes, providing people with the luxury and innovation of a 3D pocket welder.

With thousands of possible ways to use Bondic™, its ability to wow and impress are endless. Fix almost anything; it will bond to plastic, metal, glass, wood and even fabric! Bondic™ will stay liquid until you cure it, which means it won’t dry out anytime soon and will remain fluid as long as it doesn’t come into contact with UV light (the metal box provided protects Bondic™ from UV light from the sun). This allows the freedom to apply the liquid plastic and remove desired amount if too much was placed. Bondic™ won’t stick to your skin and it is safe to use so that even kids will love it! Bondic™ is your hard fix for sticky situations, saving your stuff 25 one bond at a time.

SMOOTH TALKERS COMMUNICATION GUIDELINES

Bondic

™ is cheeky, funny and a bit sarcastic with a lot of confidence. We are not offensive but we are fine with pushing boundaries and standing on the edge of communication. We will tactfully use swear words if they get the point across in a humorous manner but we do not want to come across as vulgar. We need to be mindful of our demographic and who we are 26 communicating with when pitching and commenting through marketing outlets. The communication to men would be more to the point where as the communication to women is more emotionally driven. Communication must be clear and concise about what Bondic™ is and what it is not. Mainly the public needs to understand that it is not a glue; Bondic™ is a liquid plastic welder that works where glue fails. We create cheeky comments and mini campaigns about how glue is dead and we killed it. However, when we create informative videos and content we are specifically showing the public how Bondic™ works differently than glue and how it is superior in areas where people had no other option in the past.

We should always position ourselves as a stand-alone product without any direct competition because we are the world’s first liquid plastic welder. Always follow the Bondic™ principles when describing what the product is. Our goal is to be funny and edgy but informative and educational about the product so that people understand clearly how it will enhance their lives. 27

COMMUNICATING WITH RETAIL STORES

When

discussing the product with our retail stores we want to portray a more straight forward and conservative approach. They are likely old hat buyers who are not up to speed with modern lingo and could take offense to our edginess. It is important that our focus is education, information and benefits of product use. The intent is sales driven and our communication should revolve around consumer attraction and ROI.

ONLINE MARKETING

28

Social

media and online marketing is an area where we can be playful and edgy. This is where we can push the boundaries and have fun as we are talking directly to the consumer. We want to stand out and be noticed. In a sea of new products and constant advertising gimmicks we need to stand alone, be unique and memorable. This is the platform where we have the most control, unlike in retail stores where we are not present to communicate directly to the buyer. Online we have that ability to start conversations, answer questions, be funny and interact with our audience. This builds brand loyalty and trust so it is essential to engage on a regular basis, keep it light, still be informative and educational and keep them wanting more.

MEDIA

Media

reports on news and a new product in the market is not always newsworthy. The goal is to leverage the history of Bondic™ “from medical to mainstream DIYâ€? as this provides an element of interest that something unique has been developed. We need to make sure that when pitching to media we do not come across as an advertisement or marketing gimmick. Our story should be compelling, interesting and offer a level of interest that they would want to report on. When communicating on media outlets we MUST always be briefed on the questions beforehand. Staying on brand is essential and keeping to our standard lingo will be crucial to our 29 communication. We can be playful and fun and encourage lighthearted cheekiness to keep it interesting. We do not want to just talk about the product and be a TV salesman, so adding that element of edge will help keep viewers engaged and hopefully exploring further.
