ABOUT BOWBL ADE The BowBlade is a sweet active gaming device that combines resistive movement—specifically the archer’s bow pull—with video gaming, creating a fullbody, immersive experience that everyone can enjoy. Far from just a fancy smart-phone attachment, the BowBlade gets gamers into the game by giving them the physical experience of holding and shooting a bow. Not only does this add fun to the game, but it also has the added kicker of combating Gamersclerosis (by helping them get fit!). Add to that the fun of 50+ apps that integrate seamlessly, the BowBlade is a whole new way to play first-person shooters and fun for everyone. Plus, we all know archery is historically epic. Some form of bow exists in almost every culture around the world — plus you’ll look great and feel great! Because tapping your screen isn’t shooting...Game on with BowBlade!

COMMUNIC ATIONS GUIDELINES The BowBlade is a sweet active gaming device that combines resistive movement—specifically the archer’s bow pull—with video gaming, creating a full-body, immersive experience that everyone can enjoy.

[ how it works ] The BowBlade uses two bow-shaped blades combined with a patent-pending mount & trigger system to create an active game controller. There are three sizes available so you can find one that fits your height. Each BowBlade has two settings to adjust to your pull length too. Built firstly for mobile gaming, the mount holds most iPhone, iTouch, and other touch-based smart phone devices (with or without cases). The mount itself is adjustable and we include adjusting pads for various thicknesses. The trigger is only active when the bow is pulled back and taunt—which creates that resistive workout. Depending on the game, you may tilt to aim or move 360 to find targets. You’re backhand holds the trigger, which you pull or release to fire (depending on the game). Easy as pie, right? After a small learning curve, you’ll be switching hands, moving around, and getting crazy with it! Just don’t forget to release for rests between shots or you’ll be too worn out to play for long!

16

[ how to talk about the bowblade ] For Gamers: As gamers, we know you’re always looking for a new

challenge. This is it. Why sit, slouch, and tap a screen when you can get up, get into the game, and get ripped all at the same time! The movement, stability, and resistance-training of the BowBlade add another level to even simple games. Best of all, it gives you that real, tangible experience to make you feel like you are really shooting—be it turkeys, zombies, or even your friend.

For Archers: We know nothing is going to take the place of the pull and

release of a real bow. However, the BowBlade really is the next best thing. It is a great way for serious archers to even out their training by working their non-shooting side because you can use the BowBlade on either side. Plus, who cares if its raining? Train inside! And honestly, isn’t imitation the sincerest form of flattery? It’s all about fun and expanding the archery experience!

For Fitness Fans: There are a few fitness games on the market, but none

that actually give you resistance training. Meet the BowBlade. Although the actual pull is only around 12-17 lbs, using it for even five minutes leaves you feeling the burn for hours. It’s a simple and fun way to tone your upper body. Plus, if you want to get really fit, we can even include a full-body, 10-min workout routine Dr. Ron developed!
