Who are we? Louis Hauller wines is a story of relationships, the story of the Hauller Family. The Hauller Family is the result of a long tradition of craftsmanship starting in 1776: Léon Hauller was the last in a line of master-coopers. His son, Louis, became a specialist in winegrowing and wine making with one goal: a quest for elegant dry white wines. The vineyards cultivated by our family extend over 20 hectares (50 acres), around Dambach-la-Ville. They are carefully selected to permit the production of a superb range of Alsatian wines : Riesling, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Noir and Crémant d’Alsace. We are also known for our Grand Cru Frankstein, Grand Cru Muenchberg and Grand Cru Winzenberg.

Who are we? Established in Ammerschwihr, a small village surrounded by vineyards, the Sick Dreyer winery has produced wines for many centuries : we have to go back to 1563 to find the first Mr Sick to grow vines and make wines. Since the 16th century, many things have changed, but one thing remains the same : the joy that producing wines gives us. We are very proud to grow vines on the terroir of the Grand Cru Kaefferkopf, the oldest Alsatian appellation, respecting the vineyard and all its surroundings.

Who are we? I am a winegrower and a trader. My father, Pierre, set up shop as a small wine merchant 20 years ago. Until now, our wines have been sold exclusively in France. The Maizière family has been living in Burgundy as long as the monks have been living in Burgundy… This means for a very long time! I try to make red wines that focus on the fruit, with subtle and velvety tannins, wines that you can appreciate for a nice dinner but equally as an aperitif. It means that our wine easily helps to share a good moment with friends. What is key to obtaining such a wine is discipline, care and listening—listening to nature, that is.

Who are we? Mas Gabinele is an 18ha vineyard in the commune of Laurens in the heart of the Faugeres appellation in Languedoc-Roussillon. The soil is made of sandstone-schist. It’s very poor and therefore provides low yield: production varies on average from 20 to 25 hectoliters per hectare, depending on the year’s climatic conditions. The vineyard is run with maximum respect of natural balance and on the basis of environmentally friendly treatment. Harvesting is carried out manually with selection on the vine of the ripest grapes. Maceration periods are long, between 20 and 30 days depending on the wines. Vinification is as gentle as possible to avoid over-extraction, aimed at producing likeable wines: agreeable and fruity with supple, well rounded tannins, but which also offer excellent ageing potential. Our philosophy is based on producing little, and well. Quality is an obsession which obliges us to permanently improve our work methods, from the vineyard to the winery.

Who are we? The Gautier family vineyard dates back to 1669. Seven generations of Gautiers have made wine since then on the property. In 1981, Benoit Gautier took over, bringing a new dynamism to the estate. The estate spans over 15ha near to the Vouvray area. The grapes are all handpicked in successive passage through the vineyards and the wines are fermented and matured in troglodytic caves with constant temperature and pressure. This result in an authentic and surprising range of Vouvray wines made from Chenin Blanc on a vineyard cultivated mainly on flinty clay and calcareous clay.

Who are we? We have been winemakers from father to son for many generations. We are proud of our family traditions that we have continued while giving ourselves modern techniques to ensure the fine quality of our wines. Our 21ha estate has vines on the hills overlooking the river Cher. Our annual production is around 1,200hl. Our vineyard is wel- established, situated for the most part on sandy soils with variable quantities of flint (gunflint) which gives a characteristic taste to the wine, notably for the Sauvignon. The other part is on flinty clay and limestone soils, which give the wine its robustness. The subsoils are flinty clay. All our vines have varied exposure from southeast to southwest to enjoy maximum sunlight. We practice sustainable farming. We harvest the grapes mechanically for the most part and make the wine in stainless steel vats, controlling the temperature at fermentation.

Who are we? My wine-farm is family-run and located at Mouzillon, 20km south of Nantes. Encouraged by my father’s and grand-father’s know-how, I decided to continue a traditional culture of vines to preserve the true nature of the soil and conserve the pure characteristics of Muscadet. My domain is spread over 34ha, shared between two very different soil types: - Granite and schist hillside, for the Muscadet Sèvre-et-Maine sur Lie “Domaine du Moulin” (70 000 bottles / year) - Clay for the Muscadet Sèvre-et-Maine “Les Roches Gaudinières” (8000 bottles / year).

Who are we? Domaine de la Noë was founded in 1878 by the Drouard family. This family estate sits in the area of Maine, in the city of Château-Thebaud in the Loire Valley. The year 2000 marked a new passage of the family torch: Jean-Paul, Laurent, Denis and Pascal, the four children of Paul, have since overseen the production. Today, the wines’ age represents an obvious benefit to the quality of the wines (from 2 to 80 years). The vineyard is composed of 183 acres, on which they evolve great richness of soils: granitic and gneiss. The evolution of techniques combined with our ancestral knowledge of the field to make our wines ensures an impeccable quality.
