The Ubud Food Festival is the region’s leading culinary festival, celebrating the diversity and taste of Indonesia’s culinary world, tempting thousands of food lovers from all over the world. The Festival, featuring over three days, includes special events, cooking demos, food tours, talks, workshops, arts performances, films, and more.

2024 THEME This year, the festival theme “Take it to the Streets” transports attendees to a vibrant culinary haven where the streets pulsate with the soulful flavours of Indonesia’s rich culinary heritage. Street cuisine is not merely an afterthought but is elevated to new heights, becoming a pinnacle of culinary excellence that captures the essence of the nation’s diverse food culture.

FESTIVAL VENUE At the Festival venue, the food area will give attendees the chance to sample some of Bali’s tastiest new street food concepts, as well as old, tasty, classy dishes. Alongside dozens of food vendor options, attendees can join flamefueled theatrics at the Teater Kuliner stages.

STEWARDSHIP Yayasan Mudra Swari Saraswati is an independent, not-for-profit foundation committed to enriching the lives and livelihoods of Indonesians through a range of community-building arts, cultural, and culinary programs. It was founded in 2003 by Janet DeNeefe and Ketut Suardana as a healing project in response to the first Bali bombing. The goal of the Foundation is to help fulfill the creative needs of Indonesia, its individuals, and its communities while showcasing its cultural diversity – both traditional and contemporary – to the world.
