This badminton and yoga lover also says that she wants to have a chance to play badminton with some Indonesians. “I heard that Indonesians are good badminton players!” New Intern His name is Daris Rafi Fauzan. Currently he is registered as a 6th semester student at Universitas Brawijaya, majoring in International Relations. He started his internship on July 11, 2016 and will contribute in our office until September 2016. When asked about his expectation by interning in UCLG ASPAC, he had the following thoughts to share. I chose UCLG ASPAC because… This organization’s main focus is closely related with Local Authority Cooperation, the one that I am concerned about. Nowadays, cooperation between states is not only for the central governments, because local authority can also give support and become actors. Local authority cooperation can increase local economy and strengthen relations between local authorities that will be beneficial for both parties. For these reasons, I believe UCLG ASPAC will be perfect to learn about the work life. When asked about his first week of internship… My first week was fun! I feel a warm atmosphere with the staff. It means a lot for me as a student. The Secretariat Team welcomes Daris and Anne and wish that the two of you can have a great experience working with us at the Secretariat!
