Hanggar Irawan, or Hanggar, is the newly recruited Finance and Accounting Manager. He is working to ensure adherence to the Standard Operational Procedure of Finance and Accounting, make further improvement on financial systems and operations, develop and implement effective, efficient, high quality and accountable financial standards and practices, and maintain strong and continuously growing financial portfolios that support and sustain the overall organisations’ programs and operations. With strong background in Accounting from University of Trisakti in Indonesia, Hanggar has recorded 22 years of experiences in financial management, mostly in international funded projects such as by ADB, World Bank, DFID, Norway and multi donors. He has developed his skill in grants management and more advanced financial management. He devoted my knowledge and experiences in many projects developing robust financial system that are transparent and accountable. His motto is using finance to connect with people. When asked about expectation when joining UCLG ASPAC, Hanggar mentioned that he wants to learn more from International organisation that reach out hundreds of cities in Asia Pacific. Rendy Primrizqi, or Rendy, is Resilience and Public Space Officer. Graduating from Urban Design Masters Programme of Universitas Indonesia, Rendy is trusted to lead the work in highlighting the importance of comprehensive public space as an integral part within cities while also focusing on the effort of building city resilience to various stakeholders. Having experiences in the participatory approach process and dealing with urban issues, Rendy is able to communicate well with stakeholders to help elevating those aforementioned efforts. His hobby in amateur photography also give him advantage and help in ‘ice-breaking’ process to get to know the people better in grassroots level. His previous journey in Resilient Jakarta Secretariat had let him experience the complexity of delivering resilience concept to its realisation in the city level, from bridging the gap, aligning current efforts, to implementing those concepts into action.
