Hello from Secretariat

UCLG ASPAC is glad to announce its new interns whose enthusiasm in supporting us keeps the working spirit alive; while we deliver our best still adapting the work from home policy.

AMANDA Raissa Shafira, or Amanda, is an undergraduate student of Padjadjaran University majoring in International Relations. Amanda studies politics, government relations, and cooperation, but along the way she has developed a keen interest towards environmental issues and everything around sustainability. Amanda is assigned to Communications Division, in which she helps conducting research and planning a social media campaign. Completing an internship in international organisation is one of her top tier goals. She believes that being an intern in UCLG ASPAC can give her an outstanding opportunity; not only to broaden her horizons, but also to enhance her career profile. Amanda feels honoured to learn and gain the experience needed to work in an international environment.

MUHAMMAD Ainal Anwar, or Ainal, is an undergraduate student of Bina Nusantara University majoring in International Relations. Ainal is currently supporting Disaster Risk Reduction and Member Services Division. Interning in UCLG ASPAC, Ainal expects to get exposed to working environment as well as getting to know activities of local government and their collaborations to achieve goals. Ainal also would like to learn about counter-measures taken by local governments against COVID-19 and the interactions of local governments in AsiaPacific with those in Europe, America, and Africa. Ainal is interested in reading, journaling, football, and video game.


NABILA Annisa Kinanti, or Nabila, is an undergraduate student of Padjadjaran University majoring in International Relations. Nabila has strong interest in global politics, social issues, and culture. Previously, Nabila was the Director of Business and Networking in Padjadjaran International Model United Nations, one of the best Model United Nations in Indonesia. Interning in UCLG ASPAC, Nabila is assigned to Communications Division. Nabila helps conducting research and creating social media campaign. Nabila expects to gain insights on how an international organisation works and at the same time to develop her expertise in the application of her background in International Relations to the practical issues of local governments.
