Hello from Secretariat UCLG ASPAC would like to formally update the current members of the Secretariat Team, based in Jakarta. You might have met them in various occasions (meetings, events, or get contacted by email or phone); but we believe, you may want to get to know them better to get insights on how they may contribute to the development in your area through the organization. Let’s take a closer look!
ARIEF Mulya Ramadhian, also known to others as Arief, is assigned to the position of Programme Development Specialist. As a Master degree holder of Urban Planning from University of Queensland (Australia), Arief helps formulate plans and projects of UCLG ASPAC. Through mutual collaboration with members and partners, he will ensure that each programme and designed activity provides optimum benefits to members in developing their respective area. Looking back on his previous experience, Arief has been exposed to development projects implemented by EU and World Bank. In addition to his rich background, he also participated as fellow at EastWest Centre Hawaii and gained insightful experience and networks when undertaking his role as an expert of disaster management for the Ministry of Home Affairs, Republic of Indonesia. Joining UCLG ASPAC, he expects to be able to contribute more to development works within Asia-Pacific region. ADINDA Alnur Angelica, also goes by the name Dinda, is an undergraduate student of Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), majoring in Urban and Regional Planning. Dinda has a particular interest in understanding how local stakeholders and institutions coordinate and collaborate to develop better cities through UCLG ASPAC’s perspective. Her aspiration is that one day, she could contribute further to accelerate collaborative, participative, and locally-driven sustainable development of cities and regions, especially those least developed. Currently, she is involved in Programme Division, particularly in the Disaster Risk Reduction field. Her duties include conducting research on DRR, performing mapping and survey, compiling data, and identifying priorities and functions in local agencies.
