Good Bye from Secondee
IN almost two years of secondment period, Young-Gyu Kang or we usually called him David, a secondee from Seoul Metropolitan Government (SMG), entered his last day in UCLG ASPAC Secretariat Office on 24 December 2016. During his secondment period, David managed to set cooperation on activities between UCLG ASPAC and SMG to benefit members, particularly in the field of sustainable mobility. The cooperation began with MoU signing between UCLG ASPAC and Seoul Human Resource Development Center (SHRDC) for holding training programs for members. The collaboration continued with the 1st Training Workshop in Seoul from 2-8 September 2015 taking theme “Seoul’s Best Practices in Transport” and attended by representatives of 7 cities. Following up the workshop, the 1st Local Government Transport Officers Forum was held in Salatiga, participated by 35 Indonesian officials in the following year, exploring how local leaders developed local transport after Seoul Training. Still in 2016, the 2nd Training Workshop describing Seoul's Best Practices in
