Sun 9 Feb – Sat 20 Jun Art Deco by the Sea Curated by Sainsbury Centre Acting Director Ghislaine Wood The show celebrates iconic examples of seaside architecture, from hotels and apartment blocks, to piers, cinemas and lidos, and reveals how Art Deco became the key style for pleasure, leisure and entertainment. This exhibition will feature over 150 works including paintings, posters, brochures, photographs, fashion, ceramics, glass and textiles drawn from both public and private collections across the UK £13 / £12


Sainsbury Centre Sculpture Park Free The Sculpture Park is situated across the UEA campus, with 350 acres of attractive parkland open to everyone to enjoy art, architecture and the natural environment. As well as formal sculpture gardens, the Park offers the tranquillity of the Broad and Yare River Valley and dense urban modernist architecture, designed by leading architects such as Norman Foster, Denys Lasdun and Rick Mather. The Sculpture Park includes important works by Henry Moore, Elisabeth Frink, Lynn Chadwick, Liliane Lijn and Antony Gormley

Sun 29 Mar – Sun 13 Sep Art Nouveau: The Nature of Dreams This exhibition will examine the spectacular and controversial vision of art practice that raged across the Western world from the end of the 19th century: Art Nouveau. A dazzling selection of ceramic, furniture, glass, jewellery, paintings, posters and prints, sculpture and textiles will be on display, featuring interpretations of nature and the creation of a modern style. Artists and designers will include René Lalique, Edgar Degas, Charles Rennie Mackintosh, William Morris, Alphonse Mucha and Gabriel Dante Rossetti £8
