In the moment we feel timeless. As the years go by we take them for granted all of the little moments in life leading to the inevitable . In the moment we forget about what’s going on around us. We become engulfed in our surroundings. We meet people; see things, all the while feeling alive. For it all to come to an end, filling our hearts with sorrow, that we tried hard to avoid for so long.
In the moment we become flooded with emotions. We laugh, we sing, we cry. Never looking back. Filling in all the cracks, with moments we will never neglect.
In the moment we are invincible to what lies ahead. As we continue on to bigger aspirations. We lose sight of all of the little moment that makes us who we are.

Through all the blood sweat and tears the football team makes it out with an 11-0 season. By: Camille McNairy With a packed student section bleeding in orange and white, the titans out numbered every opponent on and off the field. As the crowd in repetitive breaths they chanted, “ I believe that we will win.” In the moment that Titans football team knew there was no looking back it would be a miraculous season for the team. The titans had heard anything but negative predictions that it would be a rough season as previous years. Little did they know the underdogs would shock everyone this year. “As a team we always strived to do are best but it was different this time around. We were a family we would lose as one and win as win. With this new motto we all strived to do are best even it that meant putting in the extra hours at practice,” junior Gavin Hudick said. The titans trotted out the gate in triumph as they continually took it one game at a time bringing home a win week after week. Those we doubted the team before knew they had to give it there all if they should a chance against the titans. “Despite the numerous times people doubted our talent we continued to keep our eyes clear, with full hearts knowing we could
lose,” junior Cody Collins said. Even though we came close to defeat a couple of times we never gave up. We refused. We took the game quarter-by-quarter, minute-by-minute. These were they showed pure talent. They had more than just the skills to play football; they had the heart to never give up. “We knew we had the talent, leadership, and hearty to accomplish a lot of great things; however, in the end it would come down to who gave it there all and we refused to go down without a fight,” senior Matt Morley said. The team rallied and ended the season with an undefeated record of 11-0. The titans had accomplished more than anyone had predicted. This was a start of a new leaf creating new records and memories for years to come. “Going from a losing season to an undefeated season was more than I expected or asked for; this was something we strived for all year; however, it wasn’t about winning it was about creating memories and having fun. This was a season that everyone would remember the titans,” sophomore Cody Braden said.

THINGS FOUND
DOWN SET HIKE As the team gets in stance senior, center Jake Riley prepares to snap the ball. “Being able to play a big role in the team is honorable, I wouldn’t do anything to change it,” Riley said. HANDS UP As the game gets more intense senior, running back qua Brown, pumps up the crowd. “Having a supportive community based crowd helps keep the teams heart pumping and giving their all,” Brown said.
HUDDLED UP As the team prepares to gain possession of the ball back, head coach Brian Kells, gives the players inspiration to drive the boys to not give up. “Playing for coach Kells has taught me to keep pushing myself on and off the field as a student athlete,” senior, line backer Matt Zook said. RUN THE BALL As the offense of line blocks for junior, quarter back Lawrence Coleman runs the ball toward the end zone. “It’s a rush knowing I carry the team on my back as they count on me to throw a good pass or run the ball in order to get a touchdown,” Coleman said.

CHECK it out As senior, wide receiver Quanell Rutledge, steps on to the field he strives to do it best putting his best foot forward on and off the field. Working as a mentor to junior varsity football players, he inspired them to never give up on their dreams. Even though it made to a great deal of hard work and dedication it will pay in the long run. In the end all of his fortitude paid off gaining a full ride scholarship to continue is football career at Michigan State University.

RUNNING OUT As the titans prepare to get the game started, senior, linebacker Cody Collins leads the team onto the field. “Given the opportunity to be a caption my senior year and lead the team to big things was an astounding opportunity, I hope I inspired other players to lead the team for future years to come,” Collins said. GAIN YARDS The offense-of-line works to gain yard, sophomore running back Lorenzo Lingard get a first down for the titans. “Knowing I’m an essential player to the game makes me want to work even harder in order to help the team succeed, and at the end of the day win the game,” Lingard said.
