SKINCARE TIPS
Top tips from some of the best models in the industry By: Claudia Garcia
NEVER TOUCH YOUR FACE
Touching or picking your face cause the bacteria and allergens to transfer from your hands to your face which can resullt in acne. Supermodel Kendall Jennner got this tip from her older sisters. "Since they're a little bit older than Kylie and I, they've always wanted to help prevent anything that they've gone through when they were our age. So they're like, 'Never touch your face, never pick your face, alwasy wash your face, and wear eye cream,'" model Jenner said.
ICE YOUR FACE
Victoria Secret Model Jasmin Tookes uses this skincare tip and said, "It's great for the pores!" She ices her face at night to help tighten her skin. Icing your face also helps de-puff the face, neutralize redness, and constrict the pores which can minimize the look of pimples. How this works is the shock of the cold speeds uo the blood circulation in your face.
DON'T SLEEP WITH YOUR MAKEUP ON
Sleeping with makeup on can lead to clogged pores, which causes acne and blackheads, and can increase your exposure to free radicals. It also prevents your skin from renewing itself naturally which causes dullness in the skin. American model Denvon Windsor said, "never sleep with makeup on that's a huge no-no."
MOISTURIZE
Fasion model Melodie Monrose believes moisturizing is important and said. "Moisturizing is the most important for everything." Moisturizing helps reduce the chances of skin problems and helps prevent wrinkles. Even if you have oily skin it's important to moisturize so your body doesn't over produce oil.

KEEP IT SIMPLE
For some people, especially people with sensitive skin, having a simple skincare routine with just the basics is better than having an extensive routine. Zimbabwean supermodel Nyasha Matonhodze follows this tip and said, "I think that less is more: the less product you put on your face, the better." The products most people tend to use have chemical ingredients in them and if you use a lot of products the more chemical overload on your skin. This would lead to senstive or problem-prone skin.
USE SPF
When Victoria Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio was talking about her beauty secrets she said, "Drink a lot of water, use SPF, and make sure to eat antioxident rich foods." Using an SPF is very beneficial because it helps prevent premature aging, lowers skin cancer risk, enhances the health of your skin, and sheilds your skin from harmful UV rays.
