Academic Requirements
Conditional admission may be available for international students who do not have a satisfactory English test score, or who still need to improve their English skills.
We accept qualified applicants from all countries who have completed their national high school curriculum or equivalent. For country-specific requirements: ulethbridge.ca/ross/ admissions/undergrad/international We also accept transfer applicants who present eight or more transferable courses with a GPA of at least 2.00 on a 4.00 scale. Transfer applicants presenting three- and four- year university degrees from recognized universities may be considered for admission to a two-year second bachelor degree program. Pre-Professional Transfer Programs Engineering 6 (University of Alberta and University of Saskatchewan) Law (University of Alberta and University of Calgary) As a comprehensive university, uLethbridge offers a number of graduate programs. If you are interested in learning more about our School of Graduate Studies, please visit ulethbridge.ca/graduatestudies. If you have completed a bachelor’s degree from a recognized international institution that was at least 30 courses in length, we may be able to grant you admission to a second bachelor’s degree. Courses from the first degree may provide credit for the second so long as they meet university policies related to residency, major and time limits. Typically, a second degree program will involve a minimum of 15 to 25 semester courses or more which must be completed at the University of Lethbridge.

ENGLISH FOR ACADEMIC PURPOSES The English for Academic Purposes program is a Languages Canada approved intensive English program that offers non-native speakers of English the opportunity to develop their oral and written communication skills to prepare them to succeed academically in English speaking postsecondary environments and to communicate professionally in prospective workplaces. Completion of the EAP program meets the University of Lethbridge’s English Language Proficiency requirements. Students conditionally accepted into a uLethbridge undergraduate program may proceed into regular undergraduate study following completion of the advanced level of EAP. Each level of study takes one semester (approximately four months) to complete. An in-house placement test will determine the level in which you will begin. The total cost of the EAP program is $4,507.84, which includes the application fee and all compulsory student fees.
The digital audio arts major is the most comprehensive degree program of its kind in Western Canada.
