Master of Nursing Our Master of Nursing Program has been designed to meet the needs of Alberta licensed registered nurses, registered nurse practitioners and registered psychiatric nurses with a BN degree or its academic equivalent. The University of Lethbridge reserves the right to determine whether degrees and other academic programs completed elsewhere are equivalent to the University of Lethbridge baccalaureate degrees. Potential students may be working in a variety of roles and wish to further their education to increase their employment options. The program will commence Fall, 2015. Delivery Style: Blended delivery will be used to provide access to the program by individuals who may be employed or located outside of the city of Lethbridge. Students will meet face to face with instructors, support staff such as advisors and fellow students twice per semester. Otherwise the classes will be completed on-line. Focus of the Program: Students will choose the Nursing Education stream or the Nursing Practice Stream. Their choice will determine if they will complete a thesis or project. Length of the Program: Students may choose to enroll in the program part- or full-time. Depending upon their choice it will take two or four years to complete. Enrolled students will have a supervisor to assist them in their educational journey. Funding Support: Students may be eligible for scholarships that are currently available at the University of Lethbridge.
