Happy Women’s History Month! In 1987 congress declared March as National Women’s History Month.

The 2024 theme is "Women Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion" . This theme recognizes women who understand that a positive future requires the elimination of bias and discrimination from our lives and institutions. During Women’s History Month – we will host the Unveiling of the Black Heritage Stamp in honor of Constance Baker Motley. This Women's History Month, let us take a moment to recognize the remarkable contributions of our sorors. From paving the way as activists to revolutionizing industries as entrepreneurs, women have left an indelible mark on history and instigated positive change.

As we welcome the arrival of Spring and Daylight Savings Time, let us also embrace our sisterhood's ethos of service. By standing together and uplifting one another, we can make a meaningful difference in our communities and beyond. Let's continue embodying the values of service, sisterhood, and empowerment as we strive toward a brighter future for all women. With a shared purpose during this season of growth and rejuvenation, the opportunities are limitless - let's make every moment count!

Election Day is Tuesday, March 5th! This is a critical opportunity for us to exercise our right to vote. Let's make our voices heard and show that we are a community that cares about the issues that matter. As members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. - Alpha Gamma Omega Chapter, it is our duty to not only vote for ourselves but also encourage others to do the same. Together we will continue to SOAR with excellence!

In Service & Sisterhood,
