NOVEMBER 2024 IVY VINE NEWSLETTER

Page 1

Greetings Sorors,

As we embrace this season of Thanksgiving, I want to take a heartfelt moment to acknowledge each of you and the extraordinary sisterhood we share within Alpha Gamma Omega Chapter. This season invites us to pause and appreciate the many blessings in our lives, especially the strength, support, and unity that connects us so deeply as a chapter. I am particularly thankful for each of you. Your resilience, strength, and unwavering spirit are an inspiration, and together we embody grace, compassion, and unity in all that we do.

With our chapter elections and the historic national election happening in early November, we have a meaningful opportunity to carry this spirit of gratitude forward. Let’s come together with mutual support, envisioning a future filled with hope and purpose for our chapter and communities. November encourages us to express our thankfulness through sisterly acts whether it’s offering a kind word, lending a hand, or simply being present for one another. Let’s fill this month with gestures of love, appreciation, and unity.

Our national program theme, "Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood," has empowered Alpha Gamma Omega to make a lasting and positive impact in our community. This shared dedication to service is a gift we can truly celebrate as we witness the powerful difference our collective efforts make in the lives around us.

Above all, let us remember the importance of kindness and compassion in our sisterhood. Each of us carries our own unique journey, and before speaking critically, let’s take a moment to pause, pray, and reflect on the strength of our bond. Kindness and compassion are the greatest gifts we can offer one another.

Thank you for all that you do. May your Thanksgiving be filled with warmth, joy, and love. I am profoundly grateful to be part of this remarkable sisterhood.

In Service & Sisterhood,

Soror Cheryl Lynn Mason, Basileus

November: Sisters Choose to Speak Life!

Scripture Scripture

Psalm 19:14 Psalm 19:14

“Let the words of my mouth and the meditation “Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in the sight my strength and my of my heart be acceptable in the sight my strength and my rredeemer!” edeemer!”

Contemplate the fact that your words hold incredible power. You have the power to influence and change the lives of everyone you share your world with, your family, your sorors, your friends, your neighbors & the stranger passing by. It is YOUR choice to use words that inspire & build or destroy & tear down. Remember, the words you share set the atmosphere for tension or calm, for division or unity, for brokenness or sisterlyness, for death or life. And once said, these words cannot be retracted, then the enemy gets his wishes.
