Our Facilities

Active Living Centre (Fort Garry Campus) • 38,000 sq.ft. cardio and resistance training floor • 200-metre elevated running track • Three multi-purpose studios • 35 ft. tall climbing wall (not included in membership) • CSEP Certified Fitness Centre

Frank Kennedy & Max Bell Centres (Fort Garry Campus) • Six lane saltwater swimming pool and diving area • Three multi-use gymnasiums • Squash and racquetball courts • Three indoor and four outdoor tennis courts • 200-metre indoor track • Ice rink • Group fitness and multi-purpose studios • Locker rooms with shower and sauna facilities • Cycling studio and Functional Circuit studio

Joe Doupe Recreation Centre (Bannatyne Campus) • Fitness centre • Multi-use gymnasium / Multi-use studio • Complimentary group fitness classes • Indoor track • Locker room and shower facilities • Cycling studio

Investors Group Athletic Centre • Three international-size basketball & volleyball courts • Can accommodate a number of different configurations

Outdoor Facilities • Two artificial turf sports fields • Outdoor tennis courts - four full size hard courts • University Stadium - 400-metre track - full size infield

About our Facilities

CERTIFIED FITNESS CENTRE The Active Living Centre is a CSEP Certified Fitness Centre (CSEP-CFC), the highest caliber of fitness facilities and physiology labs in Canada. The CSEP-CFC designation recognizes facilities who employ qualified exercise professionals, follow evidence-based assessment and training protocols and meet CSEP standards for operating procedures and safety.

ACCESSIBILITY The Sport & Recreation Facilities office of the Faculty of Kinesiology and Recreation Management strives to create spaces that are inclusive of all persons and treat all members of the community in an equitable manner. In working toward this goal, the Sport & Recreation Facilities office will strive to provide support for, and facilitate the accommodation of individuals with disabilities. FACILITY RENTALS Many of our recreation facilities can be rented for private use. Please contact the Scheduling Coordinator at 204 474 6495 to inquire about rental opportunities and rates. *Please note that facility availability is subject to change due to special events or programming.
