The Office of Intercultural and Educational Experiences delivers a broad range of innovative, short-term, educational and training programs. Sample programs include language immersion, faculty-led and customized short-courses offered to university students, educators, teachers, and other professionals from around the world. Intensive in nature, OIEE’s structured programs are tailored to meet the particular learning objectives of each group.

Customized Programs

OIEE’s custom-designed experiences integrate experiential learning activities, cultural and recreational events, and opportunities for interaction with the University and local community. Lectures and workshops are developed and led by experienced faculty and industry professionals. All programs utilize the wealth of resources at UNC Charlotte and our surrounding community.

These unique features of our programs allow individuals to exchange ideas and develop relationships with people from different backgrounds, expand networks, and view experiences from a completely new perspective. Developing a custom program starts with an idea to offer a unique program for a select audience with a specific purpose. OIEE works with faculty members, businesses, and international partners to develop custom programs specific to their needs. Programs developed with OIEE can be as unique as your attendees’ needs.
