COMPUTER TOOL FOR THE ECONOMIC OF RESIDENTIAL USERS WHO WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE ENERGY MARKET.
This summary shows the results obtained during the implementation of the project called “Computer tool for the economic viability of residential users who will participate in the energy market”. This computer tool allows to improve the quality of life of self-generating residential users because it provides the user with the possibility of monitoring the sale of surpluses to the network operator, as well as the return on investment of the photovoltaic installation in a simple way. In the same way, the interface shows the load profile and the monthly and annual savings of the photovoltaic installation. Taking into account that the problem of the project consists in the ignorance of the users about the sale of surpluses and economic viability, the designed interface allows to provide a mechanism to calculate this data. For the engineering design, three alternatives were analyzed considering calculation techniques for the sale of surpluses and return on investment, for the selection of the best alternative, design criteria such as type of user, savings on the invoice, erroneous data were considered. On the other hand, for the software validation process, tests were carried out for two users, one chosen and the other chosen, and it was compared with previous data. In conclusion, the tool manages to analyze the economic feasibility and the sale of energy from the user to the network, thus fulfilling the objectives proposed in the project.
