PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE: ADVANCED RADIOGRAPHY PRACTICE
MSc (Progression Route)
This is a new course which will support your development as a current practitioner in an advanced professional practice role. This course has been designed to help experienced professionals effectively prepare for the ever-changing environment within healthcare provision and to design and implement improved ways of working which will have a positive impact on patient health.

As a student, you will be provided with learning opportunities which will allow you to explore complex and current challenges, critique evidence-based practice, and evaluate and enhance service delivery. In undertaking this course, you will gain the contemporary knowledge, academic preparedness and skills for an advanced professional practice role and you will be required to critically reflect and review your personal and professional development in order to underpin your clinical performance and expertise.
You will be encouraged to embrace an innovative approach to your practice whilst adopting the five key principles of advanced practice; autonomous practice, critical thinking, values-based care, improving practice, and high levels of decision-making and problem-solving.

This course is suitable for all diagnostic radiographers wishing to progress on to advanced professional practice roles and offers a progression route from one of the five Postgraduate Certificates currently offered at the University of Suffolk.
Duration
Two years part-time
Entry requirements
BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography (or equivalent) and 60 Masters level credits (PgC) in a radiography-related subject
A minimum of two years as a registered practitioner
Evidence of HCPC registration
A supporting statement and reference from your employer
