PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE: INTEGRATED CARE MA/PgD/PgC
This course is designed to provide a progressive pathway of Masters level study for people working in health and social care. It will empower and enable you to lead and develop integrated services to promote and enhance service delivery.
Contemporary practice denotes a distinctive shift towards integrated care for preventative, outcome-based health and care solutions which meet the needs of people, stakeholders and governance requirements. The course is designed to provide learning which promotes inclusive, values-based and sustainable care delivery in a political and evidenced-based context.

This Masters programme is designed to enable students to contextualise, lead and transform integrated care services to enhance quality outcomes for people, professionals and organisations. You will develop enhanced leadership, coaching skills and a critical understanding of public health and care complexities in both a regional and national context. Working together with other students will provide an opportunity to generate insights and explore professional experiences to enrich learning and insights from the health and care arena.
Our course has various exit points allowing you to leave with a Postgraduate Certificate (PgC), Postgraduate Diploma (PgD) or Masters award depending on your needs. However, most students will typically complete the full Masters award (180 credits).
The course will be delivered via a blended approach to offer support and flexibility for you to complete the programme. A range of assessments have been designed to foster critical thinking and generate creative thought. These will include reflexivity and action learning sets, captured through presentations, and practice-focused appraisal to ensure ‘real world’ learning is embedded throughout the curriculum.
